Yup and I try to explain to my friends down here that they have 3 superstars and yet don't fill an entire arena, they refuse to believe that they don't sell out games.

Hornets with a solid win tonight against the bobcats, some good defense.

On an off note Charles Barkley actually looks decent now lost like what 50 pounds

That's why they were dumb to do this thing in Miami. I guess they had the cap space available to do it or whatever, but man....its just NOT a good city to be in if you want people to give a damn about you.

I get the feeling that they're not too concerned with being embraced by the local fan base. Playing together in a 24/7 city with a long term chance to win some rings seems to be the whole shebang.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Ya but, if a tree falls in the woods and no one's around, does it still make a sound?

....does anyone give a **** if they win in Miami?

Well it took October and November, and then 3 overtimes, but Brook Lopez finally got his first double double... with 11 rebounds

I agree with JFsolo. They basically accepted that they're nothing more than mercenaries.

The only thing LeBron seems to care about is the history books.

And yes history would certainly give a **** if he wins in Miami.

I just feel like it would have been much cooler if all 3 or 2/3 partnered up in a city that actually cares. I don't know. If its the history books, then I guess that's good...that they only care about being winners and not about celebrity.

                  I agree 100%

It's honestly a bummer to me that Miami home games aren't electric. It's sad to me as a fan. Imagine if NY got LeBron alone... wow.

Miami must be crackin.. you got 3 top 10 players on one team and you don't even wanna come out and check it out?

I really think LeBron will come to regret going to Miami in the end.

It'll feel empty no matter what he accomplishes. Miami is so pathetic for not being 110% behind this team...

I also feel like maybe he thought this trio would be enough to draw a consistent large crowd.

I don't know...did they? To me it seems like they really didn't expect a lot of the reactions from their choices. Whether they're playing dumb or not, who knows, but for example LeBron said he didn't expect to be hated so much after The Decision.

So I don't know if they expected the arena to not be packed nearly every game. I think what they thought was that Miami would go crazy and sell out every game because those 3 players joined forces. Just like they didn't expect everyone to be so against them.

So do I and I think he already has regretted it at times.

Yes, I know we just finished the first month of the season, but I'm not sure this exact trio is going to equal a championship. I really hope LeBron doesn't end up blowing the prime of his career not consistently competing for a title. To be honest, I can't even believe we're already at the point of wondering if this team is good enough to be a Finals team after just 1 damn month. Craziness.

I had no qualms about wondering if they were a Finals team from the day all this became official.

                          Random thoughts

                          1. Noah had 0 rebounds... wow
                          2. No Phil Jackson team that has won a title has lost 4 games in a row. Ever. There's a first time for everything
                          3. Russell Westbrook or Derrick Rose. Who is better. I do not have an answer at this time.
                          4. Baron Davis looked shockingly agile tonight. His slick ball handling returned
                          5. Blake Griffin should end up with ROY
