Just got to watch the game, a few things:

Dragic was getting raped all first quarter. Horrendous officiating, HORRENDOUS!

Warrick is garbage. Stupid, stupid guy. Terrible defense, chucks shots, killed our momentum early on.

They played great D on Nash.

Hill is a massive barometer for this team, he had an off night and we struggled like crazy.

The Miami team is VERY unlikeable. Flopping, LeBron whining like freaking crazy (like when he blatantly held Hill on that screen), Bosh, losers like Carlos freakin' Arroyo making shots all of a sudden.

Dudley was utterly fantastic. Way to earn that money, man. Absolutely great. he was everywhere!

Pietrus needs to start making shots. I know he's streaky, but we need it.

Gotta give it some time to work it out, and I hope the game against the Clips will help us. I'll be at that game, btw!

Uh, that's it I guess.

EDIT: Oh, and Childress HAS TO get more minutes. I don't care how.

MAN this new Magic team plays much much much better basketball than Miami. I am really liking the trade.

Yeah that Magic team could be scary come playoff time. Still think that the Celtics will get to the finals.

I wish that D Wade wasn't hurt. I want the Heat at full strength for Christmas.

I just don't think ORL can win come playoff time, but we shall see. It's no guarantee Miami will look good come playoff time either since they still don't look completely cohesive.

ORL's offense is going to have to destroy teams because their defense is shoddy as hell. I still put Boston above them by a lot and Miami on their same level if not slightly ahead.

Never understood "not as good as your record is" lol, you earn your record. Theyve played well on a consistent basis..

That said, well get to see just how good the Spurs actually are over the next month...

I feel you, what I mean is I don't think they're going to be repping the west after the dust settles despite their great start. I just don't like how Duncan looks at this stage in his career, I still don't trust RJ [though he's improved] and Manu/TP are going to have to do the heavy lifting come playoff time.

It's good to see them get off to such an incredible start though, gives more intrigue

Orlando has a better chance of competing with Boston now although i still think Boston has the better team and will win the series.

Magic vs Heat is a toss up right now and i can easily see it going 7

This year the dynamics of the offense has definitely changed with Duncan not being the focal point on most nights. Luckily for the Spurs, there aren't many quality big men like Dwight or Pau that he'll have to go against on a nightly basis.

The interesting thing is San Antonio has never really been known as a "regular season" team. We saw again last year that Duncan could still turn it on. This year the dynamics of the offense has definitely changed with Duncan not being the focal point on most nights. Luckily for the Spurs, there aren't many quality big men like Dwight or Pau that he'll have to go against on a nightly basis.

I'm not so sure he can go to that "on/off" switch quite so easily these days with that knee. But no doubt Spurs are going to be in the thick of things come playoff time.

I'm merely getting to the bottom line with my comments.

Prolly but right now I think the Magic match up well with Miami, Orlando has Nelson/Arenas/Howard to take advantage of the weaknesses of Miami.

Wade can guard Nelson and Arenas if they get hot.

Howard of course is Howard, but Orlando desperately needs any back up center because Dwight can't afford to get into foul trouble.

D-Wade's health is a scary thing. He was injured in the pre-season, he has missed a couple of regular season games allready and there's always something wrong with him (not even talking about his serious health issues from the past).
He's been in my top 3 of favourite players for years now but I wonder how long he'll be productive. His health is an issue and his style is to go to the basket a lot.
Hopefully he'll play against the Lakers.

Game should definitly be good if every superstar on each team shows up to play . If Kobe shows up, he should be dropping 30 . If Lebron and D-Wade show up, I think they'll combine for probably 50 points or less. Let's see if Kobe actually wants to play defense this game. If everything works out the way things should work out for the Lakers, Gasol will have 20 at the half . Will Big Bynum be playing tomorrow?
