He would be an awesome player for them, but I can't quite pin them at the next level.

They need a more traditional low post scorer and back to the basket type player. Their offense is very stale at times because it's very one dimensional. Westbrook has to drive to wreck havoc on defenses, and Durant has to play amazing as well.

If you look at Boston and LA, and even teams like San Antonio and Dallas..they have personnel that can adjust to several styles and can attack from various players.

San Antonio can dominate down low with Duncan as the go to guy, or they can use Parker to penetrate at will, and you still have Ginobili who can create his own shots from anywhere on the court.

LA can go to Gasol in the high post or low post with his back to the basket or facing up. Bynum when healthy is as good as any low post scorer in a more traditional sense, and is also a good cleanup man for broken plays. They also have Odom who can exploit matchups and play outside or inside. Don't forget Kobe also

Boston and Dallas same thing, they have dynamic half court sets that can attack from everywhere from different players.

OKC just strikes me as a top tier team, but just slightly below the pack, with or without Love.

Kevin Love? I don't consider him a threat.

I think he actually would fit in well with OKC, He is a 3rd option that can still put up 20 a night to go along with Durant and Westbrook.

Yea, in '08 an Atlanta team that was 12 games under .500 took Boston to 7 games in the 1st round. They're not an elite team.

People get too carried away sometimes. OKC is a nice young team, but they're not a REAL threat to the elite teams. They will scrap and hang in there, but they won't be able to win.

He might average 18 and 13 a night if he was in OKC

Don't think anyone would not be okay with that for a 3rd option. Not sure they would win a title yet still need role players around you and if Love would be a OKC I don't see a guy like James Harden there and others.

Who called them an elite team or anywhere near that?? You are the first person in this entire thread to use that word or anything close to it. So where are you getting this stuff from??

I read it and again I ask where did anybody say they was an elite team or anything like that?? Maybe you need to read it again. He never used the word elite once and in fact the remarks he made as far as the team rank among the league was these

That looks like to me that he said they would be a very good team but still not on the level of some of the others. I even left out the middle where he told you why he thought teams like Dallas, San Antonio, LA, and Boston are better. That doesn't look like somebody calling them elite to me.

If u have a problem w/ me labelling them NOT ELITE like the Spurs, LA,Boston, and Dallas, I dont know what to tell u. Unless u dont have those teams as ELITE or you only use that for The Lakers.

James Harden has great potential and i think he should start over Sefolosha.

I bet you a lot of people think the same where (that harden should start). The problem is Thunder would have no bench with Sef coming off the bench. Sef brings hustle and defense.
