I'm hoping for that, too. Better than watching a horrible team 2 years in a row.

would be awesome if the lockout lasts a long, long time.

the NBA needs a reboot in the worst way. So many things need fixing.

Byron Scott comments after the Cavs embarrassing lost to the Lakers last night:

This is very troubling. I'm not sure but I've never heard a professional coach say that his players were 'scared'. It actually would have been better if he would have just said, 'they played with no effort', 'they played like idiots', 'they had no clue', 'we just don't have the talent'. But what he said might be the truth. This is troubling for Cavs fans.

I remember right after Jordan left the Bulls the following years how bad they were. They were awful. BUT I still watched them. And watching them back then, I never remember them playing with any fear. Yeah, they got their butts whipped on a night-to-night basis. But that was because they had no NBA level talent. They played as hard as they could. For this years Cavs team to be bad talent-wise AND doubt their own hearts is not a good outlook. OSUfan, your right. They need to blow up this team. I mean get rid of EVERYBODY on the roster. Next year, the team should be completely different.

The Cavaliers have always been afraid of the big stage.

Look what happened when they played the Celtics, the Lakers, and in the Finals.

I can understand playing with jitters. Or playing tentative. Which is what happened last year against the Celtics. Once they punched them in the mouth, the Cavs was never the same.

But this is different. Playing 'scared' is something you usually see in high school. You might see it in college but not often. In the professional ranks, I don't think I ever saw it. I didn't see the game last night so I still never saw it in the pro ranks.

Meh, when your leader is an emotional mess like Mo Williams, I expect everyone to be a bunch of *******.

Co-sign. Even if it means taking on an equally bad contract, they need to move Mo in the worst way. He was a choker when the team was good and now when there's no pressure to win, he's still a mess.

Matrix has a point about his perspective on the Nuggets. They are definitely the most ink'd up team in the league and now that I think about it they do seem like a bunch of phony *** thugs.

What he's saying isn't so out of hand...it's pretty easy to reach that conclusion just by looking at the dudes on Denver's roster.

I can't believe people tried to bury LeBron because he couldn't win a title with Cleveland roster. He needs the NBA version of the medal of honor or a Nobel Peace Prize for registering back-to-back best regular season.
