Who are your top 5 players in the NBA?
just curious to see where people stand. One thing that interests me is to see how people approach James and Wade being on the same team and whether it diminishes them in the eyes of some. Ill chime in with mine later.Tags: None -

2. Durant
3. Nowitzki
4. Stoudamire
5. Chris PaulNFL: Bills

Kobe, LeBron, Wade, Dirk, Durant.
Howard, Amare, Paul, Nash, Williams, and Rose probably follow those guys in no specific order.Comment

Re: Who are your top 5 players in the NBA?
LeBron/Wade
Kobe
Dwight
Rose/Durant
Too many people are overrating Durant putting him above Dwight. Dwight's value on defense is invaluable to the success of the Magic. That's why a team with so many players that were struggling (Lewis was playing horribly, Carter was average, Arenas is shooting something like 33% from the field, etc. Who is Howard's second option? Jameer? Yes he's surrounded by good shooters, but none of them are comparable to a guy like Westbrook.
Secondly, because so many people acknowledge his defense, they forget his offensive game. He's still 22/13 on 57% FG. This is without being ball dominant, as Jameer tends to overdribble and the team at times completely neglects him offensively.
I also think Rose is up there with Durant. What have been his weaknesses in the first two years? His shooting? He's not 81% FT, and 38% from 3FG, which are both excellent percentages, especially for someone criticized for his shooting. In his last few games he's improved his ability to draw fouls, increasing his scoring efficiency, while averaging 25/8/5. Those numbers are excellent, and they lead to wins. Boozer and Noah have both been injured for long periods of time, and the Bulls are ahead of the Magic in the standings, with a record of 28-14.Comment

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment
