Oh so they're like a handful games behind SA in the regular season? And it's not even March yet?

You act like SA has done a damn thing since they won the Finals 4 years ago.

Old man Duncan won't be leading his team anywhere this year. I'm more afraid of OKC in a playoff series.

Matchups wise, Dallas and SA will be handled by a healthy LA team.

The players and the coach don't care about the regular season, or that is what is said.

They will probably find a way to get out of the West, whatever their seed.

So what translates as "not doing a damn thing"? Winning a ship? cause if thats the only 3 teams have "done a damn thing" since 07...

Right. Keep telling yourself that. Whatever makes the sting of losing by double digits to the elite teams in the NBA like the Celtics, Spurs, and Heat hurt all the less.

And it's different in San Antonio how, exactly? I mean, it's not exactly like those starters are playing 40 a game.

I can't recall ever seeing a 2 time defending champ get less respect.

They lost today fair and square and it wasn't some "they weren't trying" thing. But people act like they're done and it's not even close to that.

The lakers will not win against the elite teams when kobe is hogging the ball. What happens is the other teammates lose interest in the game.

You ever play pick up 5 on 5 and 1 player on your team just hogs the ball and jacking up shots with no passes. You stop playing because you feel like its a waste of time to run down the court knowing your not going to get a pass. The players get out of rhythm watching kobe play 1 on 5.

Then what happens is the lack of effort trickles down to the defensive end. Its like why bother play defense to not be rewarded on the other end with a pass.

I almost guarantee some of the same guys that want "the rivalries like the 90's had" will find it a douche move.

No disrespect towards SA at all, but the point remains, it's the regular season and it's not even the All-Star break.. and you got some dude popping off about LA being a few games behind SA.

                            Please.

As far as what I said, it's true. SA hasn't done a damn thing since they won the ship 4 years ago. I would venture to say SA has a lot of re-tooling to do if they want their window to stay open past this year.

Duncan can still have Duncan type moments in the playoffs, but being a consistent superstar may be too much to ask of him at this point. Especially when you have to deal with Pau and Andrew and Lamar and Kobe.

Hurt less? It's the regular season. Unless Andrew/Pau/Kobe suffer season ending injuries the pain of a regular season loss isn't going to cause sleepless nights. Especially considering LA is still in the top 2 in their conference.

SA is old. They were old a few years ago. They aren't doing **** this year, unless LA suffers major injuries. I don't give a rat's butt what they accomplish in the regular season... in a playoff series they won't beat LA if both teams are healthy.

23 pts, 13 rebounds om his most playing time of the season

And for the Suns they're leading NO and are trying to stay in the playoff race
