I assume all of us are now accustomed to flopping to a certain degree but Bosh took it plus one. There was no contact made on the play. But the topper is how he acted afterwards. Even on the other side of the court, constantly making grim looks about how he is in pain and also holding his nose.

and I've seen plenty of players do the same thing though, Baron Davis, Kirelenko, Chris Paul, etc...

Its not a Bosh thing, its a league thing... Fisher is one of the worst, to the point they know they shouldnt call anything for him but they do it anyway. Thats not apart of the game, thats a something someone does when they cant hang... You'd be kicked off the playground for pulling that kind of mess.

2 fridays ago. I was at the YMCA. And some guy (color doesn't matter). Is defending some guy. The offensive players has been driving recklessly all game. He drives is in the lane. And the guy takes a charge a la LeBron James did on Derrick Rose last night. He hits the ground and the guy scores. And calls a offensive foul...lol Oh man...

I don't disagree but yesterday it ticked me of more than usual for whatever reason. Perhaps because it was against the Heat and it was CB1-18.

After this guy at the YMCA called a offensive foul. Everyone started to laugh at him. The guy give him the call. But explained to him he wouldn't get that again lol. I was just sharing for a laugh. Wasn't comparing my YMCA experience to flopping in the NBA lol...

if the charge was legitimate the call is good, i dunno why there is some idea that you can't take charges in pickup games. if the offensive player is doin the same thing over and over again start taking charges and make him do something else. thats playing defense. and thats part of the game.

Oh no cubsball899... I totally understand where your coming from. The first time I did that when I was younger I got laughed at the same way. But now that I'm older. What I do is let it be known after a few times I will call if it happens again. I just don't make the call and expect it to be respect. I just stop the game and let it be known on the court. "If he does it again I'm going to call it". For instance, Holding/pushing my hand from making a steal... I've seen and know a few people who do this, "Hooking" after a spin move. I might let that slide a long time before I start bring it up on the court.

I dont see anything Bosh does that Dwade and LBJ can't do. I always thought the Heat signing him was dumb. I think if they would have saved their money and used it on depth and defensive/rebounding big men, they'd be a much better team.

I think the key to having Bosh is that he is a spot up (knock down shooter). I know a lot of people are going to say Halsem can spot up too. But Bosh is a little different in that he could drop a consistent 20-25 points ("Almost" like a Dirk). But from what I've seen. If I were him though, last night I would of started driving to the rim on those spot-up chances.

Jeebs you're right. At what point in a horrible shooting night, does the his basketball IQ kicks in and says "The jumper isn't working, time to go to the basket" I don't think Bosh has a "good" BBall IQ. He was out there over 40 mins. He could have committed himself to rebounding and defense. But he made the choice to keep chucking it up.

Yea totally agree about the BBall IQ thing. But like I said in another thread. I've felt "just do what feels comfortable to you". I'm not saying don't shoot it or drive it every single time. I'm just saying "make the play".
