OKC has its flaws [interior scoring, and not enough scorers in general] but they have as good a chance as any other team in the west to knock LA off.

You can point to Kobe or even Drew being hurt last year, but I'm definitely not banking on that meaning LA then this year healthy should be that much better.

OKC has seen Serge/Harden make large leaps in their skill sets and of course you have the acquisitions of Nazr and Perkins to finally add some interior defense and rebounding that OKC needed last year.

Obviously Lakers should be in the driver seat in all match ups, they have supposedly the best team up and down on paper and chemistry wise. They have the first or second best coach and the best player in the world. Of course they're in the driver seat, they should be.

OKC's problem last year was not having outside shooting and no rebounding/interior defense. Not sure if Harden can maintain his pace from distance and I'm not sure if Perk/Serge/Nazr can overcome Pau/Andrew/Lamar, but if you can't see that being a close series I'm not sure what you're looking at.

Compared to the Spurs, OKC matches up much much better with LA.
Close is just rhetoric. Define "close" specifically.

Agreed on Harden. His emergence is what OKC needs now more than ever, since they trader scoring for size and D.

As long as the Hornets don't play LA in the 1st round i'm confident if they make it to the playoffs they can win a series or atleast make it interesting. I'm hoping for a Dallas/NO 1st round, usually some great games and i'm not so sure D West like Dirk at all lol

Noah should play, Boozer, not sure.

Looks like Kurt "Big Sexy" Thomas and Gibson will have to hold the front line tonight mixed with a Asik and perhaps a White Mamba sighting.

Man ask them to hold the Fort down on Thursday too man, we gotta win streak we need to keep going LOL.

Hell and if D-Rose wants to take the night off then tell him go ahead. I'm sure The Russian wouldn't mind that and would probably take him out on the night in the town with the best Vodka from Russia and if he wants to get his Tiger Woods' on, then The Russian can definitely help out with that just by making one phone call and rounding up **** from different Area Codes haha.

For some reason Rose doesn't strike me as that type of guy.

He also doesn't seem like the type to get drunk and false flag gang signs, yet he did.

If that's the worst he's done in his life I'd say he's doing pretty good. Getting drunk and doing stupid things describes most college students.

The Bulls can take over first place in the East tonight against the Wizards. I like the Bulls chances being 29-4 at home against Washington who is 1-29 on the road.

Pointless discussion, character wise we all know who D. Rose is and who he isn't.

Close as in maybe it'll take another missed box-out to win the series again.

The Wizards better get out of that zone. It's raining three's.

Three point shooting is starting where it left of on Saturday against Utah.

Howard, Gortat No Longer On Speaking Terms
                                Mar 14, 2011 4:35 PM EDT

Marcin Gortat spent his early years in the league backing up Dwight Howard. It was a relationship that benefited both of them.

With Gortat now playing for the Phoenix Suns, it appears their personal relationship has become non-existent. During the Magic’s 111-88 victory over the Suns on Sunday afternoon, Gortat and Howard never even acknowledged each other.

“We didn’t say to each other one word. We didn’t shake our hands, we didn’t talk to each other, we didn’t say anything. And that’s fine; at the end of the day he’s on a different team, I’m on a different team, and I’m a grown-*** man. I don’t need him any more.”

After the game, Howard provided a subtle jab at his former teammate.

“I knew he was going to shoot all jump-shots," Howard said. “Every day in practice, when gets the ball, it’s the first thing he does. Wherever he is. … His swag was on the building. He looked good, so I’m happy for him.”

                                ......Gortat is awesome.
