    4/5 - 4/13 Game Discussion Thread

No games tonight due to NCAAs but the playoff picture starts to get a little more clearer as we enter the stretch run of the season.

God I hope Portland keeps the 6th seed, and Hornets or Memphis keep the 7th.

LA doesn't need to see Portland.

It will also be interesting to keep tabs on where NY ends up at either the 6th or 7th. If I'm Miami or Boston, I'd much rather face Philly than NY

If i'm Boston, I'd much rather see NY than Philly, especially with how they've played most of the season. Doesn't mean I think Philly is a threat to anyone else but if I had to choose the "easier" matchup, it'd be NY.

I don't know, NY seems much more dangerous.

Boston should be able to handle both, but Philly really doesn't have the players to scare Boston offensively nor defensively. In a half court set, ughhhh. It's like nails on a chalk board.

NY is definitely not going to defend Boston better than Philly, but at least they can hope to outscore them, and they certainly have the players to do that. They certainly have the personnel designed for the half court playoff game.

Well remember, Philly has played Boston tough all year and 2 of their losses to them have been by a combined 5 points so they've shown they can compete with them and they got one W against them and still got to play them one more time tomorrow.

Anytime you're trotting out Candice Parker's Husband and Jared Jeffries as your bigs, in the playoffs at that, I give you no chance against a team like Boston but if I want to be generous, I'll give them 1 game(which would be 1 more than they've won in the last decade)but with Philly, I can see them giving Boston more fits than NY just because they can play Boston's style of Basketball, as they've proven in the 3 meetings with them.

            I can dig that.

I think Philly can keep each game close as they play a grind it out type of style.

Hmm, IDK. It's a toss-up, but I'd be much more scared of Amar'e and/or Melo popping off and dominating games. KG probably does keep Amar'e in that matchup though. It's just too bad for Boston that they lost Marquis since he was one of their best perimeter defenders.

Drinking nothing my man and if you go back and look at the games when Philly and Boston met, then you'd see why I'd rather face NY than Philly.

If I'm playing a team starting Jared Jeffries at C and their next big after that being Candace Parker's Husband, then you damn right I'd rather see that team, who prides itself on trying to score, score, score instead of a team who can actually play YOUR style of Basketball in the Playoffs, which is necessary to win in the playoffs.

LOL the Knicks failures at the big spots is well documented this season, but they just have more firepower than the 76ers IMO. And the Knicks have played Boston pretty tough this season too. If I recall right the knicks had the win...only to lose by a small margin in the end. I would love for the Knicks to upset Boston in the 1st. I can't stand this bum Pierce any longer. I love everyone on that team minus Peirce. The dude looks like a damn raccon out there. Shave ya face man! lol I dont know either way in all honesty. I just hope the Knicks dont flat out embarrass themselves.

That should be a great match-up. Gallo or Aaron on Durant?

They need Him and Birdman(Also Out) to get healthy, even without those 2 they still have great depth.

                              Should be a good game.
