The Bulls fans here are cool though. It's just a whole lot more than there had been. Not you King and some of the regulars, but a whole lot of them came out of no where.

Nah man I was trying to make sure I seperated the real Laker fans to that brand of Laker fan that absolutely nobody (even y'all) likes.

When you won ONE playoff series since 1998, your closer to being doormats than contenders.

Two if we're counting this year, but yeah, you know what I'm talking about.

See above. Bulls have been a doormat since Jordan retired. The one year before this one that we actually won a playoff series, we weren't even favored to win it and the few that did believe in that team had them going no further than the first round.

But yeah, Heat/Celtics....who cares until Sunday. We'll have plenty of time to beat that **** to death.

2. I don't agree that the Chicago fans here have a sense of entitlement, but I do think they get out of hand at times [more so this year because they're having success], just like any other fanbase here. But there seems to be a lot of Chicago posters so it is what it is. Some of them are a bit out there to me though.

3. Both Rider and Granger need some water for them sour grapes. All I saw from Bulls fans is that Granger shouldn't talk bc there were more hard fouls from the Pacers... nobody complained about them, just said they happened... nobody but Granger that is.

Seriously though, like I said, the people that commented on the Pacers hard fouls were only doing so in response to Granger's crying. Not one of them were complaining about the Bulls getting fouled. It was either "it's the playoffs, man up" or "why are you complaining about something your teammates were doing too?" Even the Pacers players not named Granger basically said Granger was wrong. You're coming at them like Granger was going at the Bulls.

I am sorry about your boys though. I hadn't watched them much this year and they've got a nice young team. Granger's built to be THAT guy for them too, but not if his attitude is like this. I'd love to see him come back next year stepping up his game to that next level.

Danny Granger had a good playoff series, but Pacers general manager Larry Bird felt he took some small steps backward this year and wants to see him step up his game.

"He's a top-30 player," Bird said. "I've always thought he could be an All-Star and he's close, but he's not there yet. I didn't think he was as committed consistently as he's been in the past. It would be really nice if he could be our second scorer.''

I agree 100% with Bird. As crazy as it may sound, I think Granger could be a superstar in this league. He has some of the physical talents and skills. BUT as Bird stated, it's the commitment and mental aspects of the game that make the difference between a superstar and an all-star. Talent isn't the only thing that makes someone a superstar. Almost everyone in the league is talented BUT I can count on one hand the number of players I consider elite superstar.

I feel you, man. I was just getting on you bc your comments ABOUT what Granger said were similar to Granger saying them. Definitely wasn't trying to start anything. Like I said, I thought they looked pretty good... and like you said, as good if not better than should've been expected.

I've always viewed Granger the same way.. which is a wannabe #1 option. He doesn't have that "it" factor to put his name with the elite wing scorers [Melo/KD]. He's a poor man's them. Never will be as good as them and will never be the best of the best.

But he's still a hell of a player, and I think if they could get another great scorer at the 2 guard they'd be OK and ready to compete.

It's not necessarily that Granger isn't a Batman, he just doesn't have a Robin. He can be Batman 1B to a Batman 1A.

I don't think he is a Batman right now; 1A or 1B. Especially considering his scoring numbers are on the decline the last two years. He is scoring less, taking less shots and attacking the rim less which is also translating to his FT attempts per game. His FG% is also a career low this season. I like Granger, I've liked him for a while but this decline makes me wonder. At 28 years old I thought he would take the next step this year but he kind of fell of in a way.

Personally, right now I would take Gay over Granger and Gay right now isn't a 1A or 1B Batman either.
