Also I'd love to see this crystal ball you're gazing into. Feel like sharing who's going to win the title this year? No one can say whether or not Stan would have led that Heat team to a chip.
    1. I am not privy to the Heat's home fanbase but outside of that fateful 2005. I can't recall any Game 7 won by a road team with an NBA Finals trip or the championship on the line.

    2. I don't have a crystal ball on who'll win the title this year, but Pat Riley has a incredible vision and foresight when it comes to coaching decisions. He has won 2 championships taking over for a coach inseason. After witnessing Stan's failure in 2005 and the slow start in 2006 he stepped in and they won it all. That is a cautionary tale for Erik Spoelstra. If he can't win this NBA title, then he can't afford a slow start in 2011-12 or Pat Riley will take over again.

But again, you're still placing all of this blame on Stan for 1) losing a game 7 at home in Miami, which hardly brings any type of home court advantage, against the defending champions at the time and 2) losing a 1st round series here tonight against a decent Hawks squad.

Like I said, Stan didn't have a team worthy of contending for anything, aside from having Dwight. How is it his fault that when he looks out on the court he basically sees "Dwight Howard and a bunch of guys" or when he looks down his bench and sees an over-the-hill Gilbert Arenas on bad knees?

I just saw the replay of Stan's postgame and he admitted tonight what Pat Riley thought of him after the 2005 loss

I wanna know how long before the "Duhwight wants to bounces" stories start popping up left and right because last year(and even the year before)it didn't take long for the "Lebron is leaving" stuff to come out.

Bulls in 6 - 5 but the Pacers put in a good effort.
76ers in 6 - Nope. Also put in a better effort than anyone expected.
Celts in 5 - 1 game off again.
              Hawks in 7 - and a 3rd.

              3/4 on winners,0/4 on games.

              Hawks in 7
              Celts in 5

When you have the 2 time champ playing in a 3-2 series you're not gonna put on a stinker like ORL/ATL on over them.

                Common sense.

but your first comment is nobody gives a rats behind about ATL ORL, thats the point... its the playoffs, period.

Then as you can see, everyone doesnt have NBA TV... its more about how you schedule your games than it is having multiple games on at once

                Come on man

23, what would you suggest? scheduling the ATL/ORL for 5 oclock?

On top of the Laker game going on, they were also up against the NFL Draft as well, so they were ****ed from the beginning because nobody was going to pay much attention to it.

All this could be avoided if the NBA wasn't hellbent on giving teams 2 days in between games in the 1st round, which is pointless to me.

Every since they made ABC as their main broadcaster its been awful.

Honestly man, this hornets series was just as much of a sham as the ORL ATL series if you want to be truthful.

                            It was all awful

Ive decided to not even watch these series where the outcome is already determined anyway

I think SA/MEM has been more exciting than both of those

This frees up CAP space for ORL to go after CP3. With Minnesota in a hole so deep they can't see the top, they waste every pick in the next three drafts on PGs who suck, all while Orlando is the juggernaut of the east for the next decade.

But really, their screwed. They better hope their is a GM stupid enough to take Gilbert off their hands so they can try to build around howard.

3 out of 4 for me. One exactly right in terms of games and winner.

But, the one that I got wrong, I got really wrong.
