No, not yet at least. Last night's game was the worst basketball I've seen the Bulls play this season and they still won. I believe they will finally click in these next couple games. If I don't see an improvement with the next couple games then I'll start becoming a little more worried.

And as I stated before, the Pacers played probably the best basketball they might play the whole series in game 1 AND they still lost. The Bulls didn't play good in game one and played like crap in game two. I still expect a sweep.I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - First Round Discussion Thread
i would like to see Rose look for his midrange jumper more often... game 1 he got to the rim pretty much at will but Vogel (who looks like a very good coach) adjusted and made it tougher for Rose, but he kept forcing the issue. i'd expect him to adjust though
i'm anxious to see the next couple gamesComment

Toni on Amare not getting the ball
"I love people that maybe didn't watch the game, because I went back when I heard that, and at the 2½-minute mark he scored a basket, and we went to him almost every time up to that point. On the next play we came down we went to him, and that was at the 2 minute mark, and he charged. Then at 1:40, we ran a play for him. They kind of knocked him off of it and overplayed him, and that's when Chauncey got hurt -- and he had an open lane to the basket," D'Antoni said. "You know, our guys can't be robots. They've got to play. But every play that was called was for Amare."Comment

No, 2006 first round was kind of similar, the Heat struggled against the 7th seeded bulls but their end results was pretty satisfying. I think the Bulls will get better as the playoffs roll, to often they match their competition level this season. They're going to need everyone to step up especially Boozer.Comment

How sad is it that every game, every series, every thread is marred with ref discussion. I mean....just.....really sad.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - First Round Discussion Thread
Exactly. The Pacers have quality wins over the Bulls, Miami, Lakers also, so you can't be deceived by their record. Plus, after they made the coaching change, they actually have a winning record, and a lot of that is due to the new coach giving playing time to players who are NOW making a difference.
Also, I'm disappointed at all the Bulls fans who are losing faith. If you are a fan of a team, you ride with them to the end. The NBA is all about matchups. Rose did his thing, but he's also chasing around a PG who's about as quick as he AND who has an offensive game. Don't be surprised if the Bulls have an easier time against Miami/Boston/Atlanta than they would against Indiana and Orlando.
That having been said, this is all going according to plan. I knew the Bulls were going to be coming out flat and having these slow starts. Difference is I thought it was going to cost them a few games and I do believe it's going to cost them Game three. I think they'll win the series in the end of course, I just don't think it's going to be a sweep.Comment
