But wait guys... didn't I quote him in that post? I usually try very hard to quote someone. But I don't quote someone who just posted above me. And if I find out that someone slipped in a post before me. I usually use the quote function and edit my post. So people aren't confused.

I said nothing about a chip. The knicks have been so bad for so long success for them is winning a playoff series.

I think this team is fully capable of doing so under D'Antoni, and who knows what else. They've lost Games 1 and 2 on the road by a collective 5 points.

Giving a run for the money and losing gives no credit to D'Antoni's failures to have the team playing smarter, and not being prepared on certain possesions.

Failures? Did D'Antoni not have the deepest corners of his bench prepared to play?

I mean how else do you explain a team w/ Melo and nothing else nearly beating the C's on the road, and/or being competitive to the final possessions of a game?

Where do you make the distinction that the team was not prepared? There's preparing, and then there's executing. Preparing is on the coach, executing is on the player. Unless you were in the huddle, I don't think you can relatively speak on the matter of preparation.

Furthermore, I think Melo just gave up at the end, and didn't cover the inbounds play. Aside from D'Antoni standing in for a player on that inbounds play to West, that allowed Boston to run out the last few seconds of the game, I don't know what else D'Antoni could've done.

In fact, Carmelo was deferring from the double team so much that he was probably doing exactly what D'Antoni told him to do. It just so happened that he was surrouned by Bill Walker's, Roger Mason's, and Toney Douglas'.

Doc Rivers looks great for his timeout and drawing up a play for KG, but he has mismatches he can exploit almost all over the court. IMO his decisions were easy, he looks great nonetheless for his call, but c'mon.....

I almost found myself rooting for NY last night... almost. I immediately ran to the kitchen to see if I didn't leave the gas on or something.

I won't lie though, watching Carmelo go on a scoring rampage like that is beautiful to watch. Game 3 and 4 should be great at the Garden. Amare seems will play, hopefully Mr. Bi-bi-bi-billups will be ready as well.

Yea that was a very bad joke lol. But I thought when Melo was going off...that played right into the Celtics strength. If he doesn't score they lose. But the Celtics are great at those one man crews. But at the end of the Knicks just did not hustle. They may have out rebounded the Celtics. But I can count at least 3-4 loose balls the Celtics came up with in the fourth quarter.

I don't think Billups will be abe to play. He's not getting a MRI until today. If anything he'll be able to play a game 6 or 7. Amare on the other might miss the next game (unless the Knicks have miracle worker). He might give it a go. But he won't be even 80 percent.

Amar'e really coming back for game 3? When I saw him standing up for his postgame I was like 'damn he's really hurting' so I was just sure he wasn't going to play.

Pared I remember a one situation. I don't remember how the ball got loose again. But all I remember Big Baby losing the ball. And no one being no where near him. This crazy man went head first for the ball. It's little thing like that.
