    LOL SVG talking about his teams shooting...

    I thought it was a unwritten rule in coachland not to do that lol

      I love what KG said in the post-game interview after the sweep. Obviously it's no secret but the guy gets "it".

      A little surprised NY got swept though. I figured they'd be able to give the Celtics a bit of a run with Amar'e and Melo, but obviously Amar'e getting hurt was a factor. Well that and Boston being so solid defensively.

              I'll try and find it on Youtube but he mostly just talked about how he knows what his role is on the team and that's to rebound, keep Amare in check, etc. He doesn't try to be the scorer because "we have Ray and Paul for that".

              It's just nice to hear that sometimes because you always have some players that don't get that everyone has their own specific role on the team and would rather bitch about playing time, shots or things like that. Not to mention this is coming from a future HOF and someone whose been "the guy" on a team for years and years.

                In the video above, Kevin Garnett -- 26 points, 10 rebounds -- talks with ESPN's Lisa Salters about his role in the Celtics' sweep-clinching victory over the Knicks at Madison Square Garden this afternoon.

                  I have an idea;

                  Let's take everything that makes a coach's system work away from the team, and then continue to expect that same system to work.

                    Maybe someone posted this already, but what a dumb thing to say. He said this after game 3.

                    Mike D'Antoni could taste his foot in his mouth the second he finished his sentence. Asked about his impression of Rajon Rondo after the Celtics' point guard sprayed a team playoff record 20 assists around two nights ago, D'Antoni was too cheeky for his own good.

                    “I’d like to see him play in Minnesota and see how he does," D'Antoni said.

                      Cue the "I'd like to see what D'Antoni does without Steve Nash....oh, wait" comments, lol.

                      Dumb thing to say. I never liked those "Let's see what would happen if the switched teams" type comments.

                      Fact of the matter is, sometimes, it's just a perfect storm. The "perfect storm" situation actually happened with both D'Antoni/Nash and Rondo/Big3/Doc.

                        True about the Nash comment.

                        Yeah, perhaps if his team was ready to go out there and play some defense in game 3 Rondo wouldn't have killed them. A bit strange that he took a jab at Rondo after such a historic performance, instead of taking more of the blame for his team not being ready to play.

                          Probably... But the Knicks had bad match-ups. Didn't play much defense. And just didn't play smart basketball overall. Everyone forced a game 5 expect the Knicks. That's sad lol

                                Phony's a clown for saying that about Rondo, but don't act like we all wouldn't really want to see that happen

                                He just said what everyone else has been wondering and saying for years now.
