I really hope the West shocks us and becomes competitive in this first round.

Spurs over Griz in 5 or 6 (Even with a banged up Manu, just cannot see the Griz winning an actual series.)

Lakers over the Hornets in 0 (Yes that's right in 0 as in they shouldn't play one game. I'm not usually the type for giving teams no chance, but the Hornets have absolutely no shot at even coming close to beating the Lakers. I'd adore them if they proved me wrong, but it ain't happening this series ended last night at the end of the Laker/Kings game.)

Blazers over Dallas in 7 (This one can go either way, I'm just gonna say Portland though cause I think this is finally the year they make a first round move and I think they really want they're shot at the Lakers in the second round.)

Thunder over Nuggets in 7 (Really hate this has to happen in the first round. I really believe that the Nuggets can win a playoff series or two as currently constructed. That said, OKC is on a mission and they'll somehow find a way.

Spurs in 7- I think the Grizzlies can bother the Spurs with Randolph and Gasol and with their perimeter defenders in Battier and Allen. But ultimately, I think the Spurs win in 7 in a great series.

Thunder in 6- I like the Nuggets but this wasn't the right matchup for them, should be really entertaining to watch anyway.

Lakers in 5- I think CP3 will have one game where he absolutely destroys Fisher and carries the Hornets to a win plus I think LA thinks they can coast through this series.

Blazers in 6- I think the Blazers can throw multiple guys on Dirk and just try and wear him down over the course of the series. Plus with Dallas being near the bottom of the league in points in the paint, I think that will start show itself in the playoffs.

Chris Paul will destroy Fish every game.

I expect the Lakers to win the series, but I don't think its going to be the cake walk that everybody thinks it will be.

Well yeah, but I was just saying where he plays so out of his mind that it wins them a game (think Iverson 01 Finals Game 1 or Lebron Game 5 Pistons 07).
