Stinks for Denver. Changed the complexion of the game too.. but the way they looked at the end of the game is very troublesome, especially being down 3 and looking completely lost out there on the perimeter. Even when there was 7 seconds left, the inbound to Nene looked like it was bound for failure until the Harden foul. Down 5 and you inbound to Nene?
Yep thats what i was getting at... tons of low IQ perimeter play trying to force layups with 2 short guys and no post plays

I wouldnt been far more comfortable as with anyone, if it was JR Smith rather than Kmart... you never want that happening in the playoffs come on George Karl

he even had a timeout with plenty of time, and kept the same group in the game

I'm Really starting to like basketball... My only problem is that sometimes feels "scripted", the underrated team always seems to start very competitive, but some questionable calls by the umpire/referee always seem to keep the game close for the home team or superstar stacked team...

superstar always seem to get the referees call on their favor (I'm looking at you Derrick Rose)... it could be coincidence or maybe the fact that I just haven't watch a lot of Basketball.

That was a prime example of why I don't think Denver beats OKC in this series. They don't know who their go-to guy in the clutch is or if they even have that guy.

And at the CP3 talk back on page 2. This is who he is now? I'll take that. Like I said, I thought he still had that extra gear in him. It was good to see he still does because I love watching the guy.

Honestly, I would've liked to have seen Chandler and Afflalo and JR Smith in the game rather than Galianari and Felton

Thats just a bad combo, along with Kenyon Martin not doing anything to help inside

at first I thought, maybe he feels this is his best defensive lineup, but it wasnt, and when he kept the same squad in there after that timeout, you could tell they were lost

They didnt even consider passing it inside, and throwing up low percentage hail mary layups without running a single coherent play just reeked of bad coaching

Afflalo was hurt but I agree that Felton and K-Mart probably shouldn't have been in there.

Gallo I'm alright with being in in that situation.

I am still thinking about his performance, yesterday. It was a masterpiece.

^^Yea man I'm waiting for the complete highlights to be posted on Youtube^^

I'm keeping that game close to my heart. CP3 was in another zone. I mean the whole team played very well. You got to give credit to the bench. They really kept the game going while CP3 rested on the bench for his final onslaught.

But the great example of bad defense was when CP3 made that steal on Kobe. Circled out. And then found himself wide open for a 3 pointer. Only the most talented team in the league would allow something like that to happen smh.

Edit: I was pretty shocked to read this morning that CP3 out rebounded Gasol, Odom and Kobe. Rebounds show you a greater sense of who wanted it more.

Yeah that game was just almost as fundamentally perfect as it gets for a PG. I like the way hes thinking now, kept saying after the game it's the playoffs the regular season and records don't matter

I think he understands that concept and this is why he coasted at times this year. Seeding doesn't really matter in the league because your must likely going to see the best teams at one round or the other. If your focus is to win a ship and not just advance in the playoffs your seed is almost irrelevant.

I don't know about seeding being irrelevant.

The #1 seed is going to have the easiest route getting to the finals for the most part.

I mean, just look at the Celtics and Bulls this year...

                          Celtics
                          1st round Knicks
                          2nd round Heat

                          Bulls
                          1st round Pacers
                          2nd round Magic or Hawks

Seeding makes a pretty big difference, IMO

Seeding isn't necessarily irrelevant, but it's not THAT big of a deal. Just ask the Cavs how that #1 seed worked out for them in '09 and '10.

It's close to irrelevant. In a 7 games series you will have to face the best to win a title. So while seeding matters it doesn't matter as much as saving your best for the playoffs.

Seeding is very crucial to 95% of teams.

Only a few teams a year can afford to not worry about seeding, and even then finals HCA is just huge.

Lakers win without HCA last year? Good question.

Seeding matters and that's not an opinion.
