Im starting to think the JR situation is just as much Karl stubburness as it is JR knuckleheadedness

Im sure it is, he has a rep for that kind of thing, especially in the playoffs

...but its likely a mix of both as you said

J.R. Smith is something! Can he hit one more?

            Nope. Great defense by Harden.

sure my Spurs suck, but what about these playoffs so far?

                    good basketball.

I msure Nuggets fans have more insight....but it seemed JR really tried to step up after Melo left...but he has such a short leash..

I dunno...I think hes going to make another team very happy...

One thing for sure, he doesn't have too many more chances... he was almost out of the league before Denver, so he had better do what he does the right way

Heck of a talent he is though.. he could help a contendor out tremendously

Durant was cold, Westbrook was playing poorly, half of our team was on the brink of fouling out, and it was an away game. All things considered, I'm happy with the win. We have to play better down the stretch though.

Ibaka had a hell of a game though. If he ever develops a solid inside game, watch out. He could be scary good. He's already great on the defensive end.

Time to gather ourselves and prepare for Monday. Hopefully the team can earn this sweep and rest up for the next round.

Here's to San Antonio and Memphis beating the hell out of one another.

Earl Smith is a talent, no doubt. But the same thing holding back is the same reason why he didn't stick around in New Orleans. His own attitude. He could be a top 5 SG if that weren't an issue with him. He certainly has that level of talent.

But he's still young. He could...maybe...sort of could grow out of it.

I don't know. At some point you are what you are and JR has been this way for awhile now. Maybe if he was playing for the Lakers or Celtics under coaches like Phil and Doc surrounded by great vets he would get his **** together, but who knows?

Anyways, I'm a little surprised to see OKC up 3-0. I figured Denver would take at least a couple games from them but I always thought OKC would win this matchup. A big reason for that was because I thought too many people were making Denver the trendy upset pick so to speak. Well that and the fact Denver doesn't know who their best player is.
