Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
At the same time you can't call people out, then bury your head at the awful officiating that seems way too often to be to the benefit of one team or the other. You looking at the Chair MAN!

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
Seriously. At this point anyway, as long as it isn't a Memphis/Atlanta or OKC/Atlanta Finals, the NBA will be happy with anything they get, especially any combination of Boston/Chicago/Miami vs. the Lakers they can get.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
No, not agree, acknowledge both since he decided to come here talking about how he is tired of people complaining about refs as if they arent inconsistent
Give me a break that was a joke of a post, especially coming from a Lakers fan
As I said, you wouldnt be tired of it if they weren't consistently inconsistentComment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
Oh OK, so it's acceptable to call people's posts "jokes" now? Good to know.
The one thing I agree with is what Jason said. This year, no team has won a series or game because of the officiating.
So as inconsistent or crappy the officiating has been, the one thing I can say is that they didn't prevent the better team from winning or advancing.
Yes we have all seen terrible calls and yesterday a terrible ejection, but Miami deserved to win yesterday and those other terrible calls haven't decided outcomes.
People should comment on whatever crap calls are made for sure, but IMO I haven't seen officials impact games to the point where someone was robbed. At least not yet.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
I wasnt talking about winning or losing a series, I was speaking on him coming in here out of thin blue air about "being tired of people complaining about the refs".
da throne came behind him and mentioned that its easy for him to say when his team has been one of the main ones on the beneficial sides of the calls so of course he's going to say that, so in turn yes it is definitely a one sided statement on more than one account
There are a ton of examples of why people are mentioning the refs here, and as I said, he can be tired of it til he's blue in the face, but it wont stop until they stop with their inconsistency.Comment

It's not about the better team advancing, it's about calling an accurate consistent game. Denver could say the refs cost them games. The backcourt call and the non-goaltending where huge in that seriesYou looking at the Chair MAN!

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
If it really came down to it we could analyze each game and point out any bad calls or non calls so we could really see who got screwed out of a win or screwed into a loss.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
Lol. I should have kept my damn mouth shut. Every team gets calls to go their way, yes even my Lakers. Every team gets shafted every now and again. But if calling out the refs after every game makes people feel better, then more power to ya.Redskins, Lakers, Orioles, UNC Basketball , and ND Football

One could make an argument there were calls or no calls that benefited Denver in that game as well though...

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
It doesnt happen, and as I said, and if you can sit here and recognize a consistency problem then dont tell me that you're tired of hearing people mention it when its happening in front of your eyes over and over
If it was a post for an individual then you should've addressed that poster instead of coming in here throwing a general statement around like that...Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread
What is with all the talk about "your team"? That's what people are annoyed with. Everyone has an opinion on the topic, one way or another... but ANYONE would be annoyed with someone blindly saying "you only think that bc your team lost". Nine times out of ten it's not true, and it's even worse when someone's "team" isn't even involved in the game.Comment
