Are we really trying to take this thread into a "Lakers never get shafted" discussion?

To that last sentence... yes. People are clearly upset about the refs and there was a whole thread about it. You can ignore it or question people for talking about it every game, but you shouldn't assume the reason someone is complaining is bc they have a horse in the race. That's where the problems start. I don't think anyone around here has brought it up for any of these games bc their team lost.

You could be right... or it could just seem that way. I don't think it's an attempt to get a certain Finals match up though. I'm not convinced they don't appeal to home teams or stars, but personally I think it's not as complex as an attempt to fix the entire playoffs.

I am of the "it is what it is" mindset though, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Nine times out of ten it's not true, and it's even worse when someone's "team" isn't even involved in the game.
Im assuming this is just an off shoot comment because it wasnt in line with the context of my response to 23...

I do think though, that there are ones who have their bias aginst teams or players of even the NBA. Its not even about having a team. There are some who literally wont comment on a game unless theres.a controversial call to come harp on. lol

Its whatever though, its going to continue on both sides..and people are going to have their opinions...I dont mind it either way, I still enjoy the games

It was directed at the idea that people are complaining about the refs bc their teams lost. Or in a more general sense, saying that an unnamed group of people are upset about anything other than what they posted. If there is a specific post that hints at that, then quote it and they can respond. Making blanket statements like the "you mad" post or "you wouldn't be mad if your team didn't lose" gets people riled up.

I quoted you bc of "acknowledge that your blinded b\c your team reaps the benefits" which doesn't even make sense in response to 23 since he's not a fan of the Heat or Celtics.

Your second paragraph I agree with somewhat... I'm just saying if that's what you're talking about then focus on that without the "your team" stuff (a message to everyone that does that, yours was just the post I quoted).

I don't see how you can say that's a headbutt though man. So if two dudes get into it and they roll up on each other and put foreheads together while jawing at each other is that a headbutt? That's basically what that was except Jones didn't get into PP's face. Definitely don't wanna see people getting suspended for flopping and Jones sold that perfectly. Flailing as if he'd really been hurt or something.

I'll go ahead and predict a blowout. The Bulls are rested and the Hawks are inconsistent.

Even though the Bulls are down, why do I not feel that the Hawks are still not a threat to win this game? The Hawks should be up by 20.
