Wrong. Some people, myself included, believe they'll win the series.

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - Second Round Discussion Thread

What I have never liked about ATL

      1. They are all iso players [JJ, Crawford, Marvin, Smith]. This year with Drew, he tried putting in a motion offense. To my eyes they do have a bit more movement but in the end it still looks like the same ole Hawks

      2. Josh Smith's just a weird type player for his position. I don't like his offensive repertoire, and although he is an athletic defender, I don't consider him to be an elite post defender just IMO.

      3. I think very lowly of Marvin Williams. Both he and Smith are so inconsistent in terms of what they're going to offer offensively. You just never know if their jumpers are gonna be on, if their slashing is gonna be on etc. etc. Both of them don't have skill sets where you can expect certain consistency. Therefore identity offensively is muddled.

During the regular season they looked atrocious, just bottom of the barrel bad. Looking back to last year's post season, it was a disaster. Swept by ORL. The playoffs before that, swept by CLE. I mean they have established themselves as huge wilting flowers when it matters.

They have awesome pieces in JJ and Horford, but just the other guys have never convinced me they have an identity and enough consistency to conquer the elite of the elite. Their team play overall doesn't wow me offensively nor defensively.

I give them credit this year though, I knew they would be a load for ORL. I thought CHI should blow through them, and they still can it's just one game. Crawford has changed the perception he only plays for losing teams, JJ is playing like a superstar and Horford is steady as ever.

Atlanta arouses no emotion out of me whatsoever. None. Just straight up "who cares"

I want to see a Atl/Mem or OKC finals !

I'm sick of these other teams, and Noah is annoying as hell the way he overreacts to everything. Plus i hate the bulls franchise from back in the Jordan days. (Knicks fan)

I like do like Rose though.

rooting for the Hawks! Awesome game by JJ. I don't think the Hawks have a "who cares" attitude... IMO the Hawks are playing more like they have nothing to lose, no pressure and as JJ said, just having fun.

I also despite Noah, the guy is a Drama queen.

I agree, the Hawks are just playing basketball. That's it and for now it has worked.

Don't think Noah is a drama queen but it's understandable why non-Bull fans don't like him. He just has a lot of energy and I'm glad the Bulls have a guy that can get the crowd and the players going.

I think the C's have one more run in their old legs. I think they have a much better chance against the Cavs, particularly if Ray-Ray keeps the hot hand from 3 and LeBron's elbow flares up, than they do against Orlando. I look for the finals to be a rematch from last year.

These two guys [Boston fan, and LeBron *****] swear like they would pick anyone else in a series of CLE vs. BOS

Worse act like there were only two guys on the internet who picked Boston to win.

                      Carry on though.

                        Regarding D. Rose's ankle.

DRose said his ankle is fine, said it's not anything like the sprain he suffered against Pacers. Said with treatment he'd be OK for Game 2.

slow start (9-0) ended up being the difference

The Bulls have been having slow starts all playoffs.

But if the Bulls play the same defense again, those players will go off again. I remember Ex saying it a while back about how would the Bulls defense translate in the playoffs. Something like "The Playoffs are a different beast"
