were you and i watching a different game? most of those shots that crawford and johnson hit were well defended

Ok... If you say so.... Even though I just finish watching the game this morning. Joe Johnson and Crawford had some very good/favorable looks. A few weak rotations and close outs. Basically not the Bulls defense I saw during the regular season.

Guy that hates LeBron acts like you and him were the only ones to pick Boston to win last year against Cleveland.

It's funny on two levels:

1. He acts like there was a chance that you and him would pick Cleveland, when we all know that would have been impossible

and

2. He acts like you and him were the only ones on the internet to pick Boston, when we all know that isn't close to true.

I still can't believe my eyes and how steady Teague played with Kirk out. Dude played basically the entire game.

Have to assume that Rose, NBA MVP is going to destroy this guy for the rest of the series. Teague is athletic and not a weakling, ATL may have perhaps found something for the future.

Hawks get all their points off jumpers, and JJ/Crawford hit a zillion of them last night. I will be surprised if they keep that up. In fact outside of the lack of points from Smith, ATL basically played a perfect game. Everyone contributed, and defensively they really pushed Rose outside the paint off PnR's.. ATL does have pretty good length and agility everywhere [Smith/Williams/Crawford/Horford/JJ].

Ex I don't think it was the jumpers. It was the defense. Just way too many open looks. They get those kind of looks in game 2 you can expect the same results.

And Atl came with a great game plan for Rose. Teague did one of the better jobs on Rose I've seen this season.

I don't think Teague did anything special, Rose was just missing shots. The Pacers played Rose WAY tougher than Atlanta did. Conversely, I don't expect Joe Johnson to go 5-5 from the 3 again (and a lot of those 3s were when the time was running out....same with Crawford). The Bulls defensive intensity wasn't where it should've been, and they were able to force some turnovers in the 2nd half while making their runs, but they played too erratic. Also, there WERE hands in the Johnson and Crawford's face, they just made the shots.

I expect Rose to be more aggressive going to the hole in game 2...he took way too many jumpers. Also, one turning point in the game at the beginning of the 4th, Rose was on the bench with CJ Watson in the game. Atlanta jumped to a 6 point lead and Thibs called a timeout. He subbed in Rose, but left CJ out there. I just don't feel that Rose and CJ should EVER play at the same time in this series since Atlanta doesn't ever go with a 2 PG lineup.

Rose has been missing a lot of shots this playoffs. The guy is shooting 37.9 %. Brick city.

I don't think Teague's defense was anything special...I thought it was actually sub-par to tell you the truth. Rose just couldn't get his shots to fall.

I don't expect ATL to win handily like this again, if at all. Chicago will make adjustments and they'll be good to go.

edit: I take it back. More like maybe exactly 3 shots contest. Everything else was a open look. They is even one drive where Deng is on his back. Boozer rotate over for help. But doesn't even attempt to contest the shot smh. That's bad defense
