No that one was legit. The first was a drive from the right side that started pretty close to the 3 point line (that's when he picked up his dribble) and he just sprinted 3 steps right to the basket for a dunk.

He got Dirk pretty square. He could've tried spinning off of him or something but at that point in the game (tired) and Dirk's lack of quickness, he just got him pretty good... it was a nice play.

I think the Haslem screen was a legal screen. Dirk has to hold his ground are he will give up a dunk to Haslem. Because they is no one to protect the rim.

But on the LeBron dunk. I've come to see the problem with calling travel on LeBron. It's trying to define what is his first step in real time.

The Haslem screen was illegal. Let's be very clear about that. He had arms up on Dirk and slid with him towards Bosh. It was very illegal.

And Tyson Chandler was right there to protect if Haslem got a pass. Let's not make things up to justify the screen. lol

The Heat still earned it last night, so don't think this is me trying to discredit anything.

I feel ya, I'm not up in arms at all, I thought I saw Haslem backing himself up a bit as he absorbed Dirk. At the end of the day, thats just a nit pick and I dont think that had anything to do with the outcome of the game (the screen), aside from giving Bosh a great look from the baseline. Dirk sagged off his man way too much and Miami made him pay for overplaying the paint. He had a tough look to push it to overtime and redeem that defensive play, but Dallas' was overdue for an anti-dagger.

It was definitely a nice play. I watched it in slow mo a minute ago, kinda symbolic that Wade passed to Bron, who deferred to Bosh, and BAM. Game 3. Heat. What a game.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rh_ciV0eDeQ <-- slow mo of the screen and game winner. For novelty.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7TXP6WNNws <-- A better look at the play, from overhead.

          Makes me wonder.

True, but having SO MUCH evidence that he pushes the rule, refs should be looking out for him taking an extra step bc he does it at least once a game. They actually have been calling him for it more in the Finals, but that one was so obvious it was ridiculous (imo of course).

It makes it hard for a defender to time their move too, if you're expecting a guy to have to go up after 2 steps and he takes another full stride.

I didn't think it was a travel until I saw the replay. But they have been calling on him.

I saw it right away, but that's bc I expect him to travel every time he drives in traffic (and he actually usually does).
