Best Go-To Move in the NBA?

So most elite players have that one move in their arsenal, that move they pull off every time they need to get open or need to put the ball in the whole.

So whose move do you think is currently the best in the NBA? Deron Williams' stepback crossover, Kobe's turnaround jumper, Dirk's fadeaway, etc etc....

I'm going with Deron's crossover personally. When he's on, I don't think there's a move in the league that opens up more space than Deron's crossover does for him.

Another go-to move I have loved for as long as I can remember... Pierce's Step back jumper.

Your list is too short in my opinion...

      Euro step
      Wade
      Tyreke Evans
      Manu

      Step back
      Paul Perice

      Floaters
      CP3
      Tony Parker

Shaq - Right hand hook shot when he spins to his right shoulder (only player in the history of the league that does this and get away with it) I think KG might the only player that does this.

LeBron James - This guys breaks all the layup rules by jumping off the wrong foot every single time he finishes with his left hand.

Blake Griffin - the dunk... Has he had a game this season where he hasn't dunked?

Carmelo - face up down low and take one dribble and spin back to the middle for the layup.

I gotta agree with this. He's not even that athletic and he can still get that shot off any time he wants despite not usually having much if any of a height/athleticism advantage.

Dirk's fadeaway is just flat out ridiculous though.

These are all just beautiful to watch. LeBron's layup made me think of Steve Nash's layup where he jumps off the wrong foot and underhands it and it just looks incredibly awkward lol (I think it's his signature layup in 2k too).

How about Prime Kevin Garnett's fadeaway jumper? Same with Michael Jordan's fadeaway and his up and under reverse lay-ins.

I didn't think we were doing players not in the league.

But could we also add Kevin Durants rip through for the shooting foul.

Nash doesn't jump off the wrong foot. Does he?...

I don't know if it can be considered one specific move, but LeBron deciding to take it to the rack is pretty unstoppable when he decides to go all the way. He scores over 70% at the rim, is strong enough to finish through contact, can jump with anyone in the league, is quick enough to go by nearly any other wing defender, and is pretty good from the line when you foul him.

Not sure if you'd consider that a move or an ability/skillset, but it's pretty good.

Another "not exactly a move", but Tim Duncan's bank shot. THUMP SWISH baby.

I'm not sure actually. I just know something looks incredibly weird about it lol. I can't watch a video right now because I'm at work, but when he does his layup like the signature one in 2k, something looks off lol.

That's because he scoops shot it. And goes under hand layup. Jumps off the right foot.

                          Definitely Dirk.

The only player who can stop the fadeaway, is himself.

And when we say his fade away we are talking about the his one foot special?
