it may be because he's lost some lift. but check this video out:

this shows that his footwork in addition to the fadeaway essentially negates the defense. either he misses it because he was going to miss, or he makes it. the defense is just there for aesthetics.

yeah, i know t-mac got it once. i'm sure others have as well. it's not the sky-hook by any means, but there are essentially only three unblockable shots in the history of the game (shaq's power dunk, kareem's sky-hook and dirk's flamingo fadeaway). i still think that, for a move he uses as often as he does, it's pretty damned effective and reliable.xbox gt - bmorerep87
