The games over now but espn2 is showing a replay at midnight I think. NBAtv is also showing replay at 10 tonight.

It was on NBATV, and there's a replay on NBATV and ESPN later tonight

USA might be in some trouble against Spain.... USA struggles when they don't have Durant in to stretch the defense and keep em honest with perimeter shooting

Teams have just been packing the middle and daring guys to shoot...

I am not so confident USA will beat Spain anymore, even though they dominated Argentina until the end...

I think he'd be be decent against Pau, Marc on the other hand seems very much like a banger down low which would give him trouble imo.

I think it'd be interesting to give Davis some minutes not even for his Defense right now, he seemingly likes to attack the rim.

Define "decent".

Because if you're going to rely on a dude that has rarely played up to this point to hold his own against both Gasols and Ibaka, in the event that Chandler gets in foul trouble, then you better hope our shots are falling in that day.

Also, you have enough Offense as it is on the team so you really only need Davis for Rebounding and Defense.

I know that, but I was just going off today's game when I was watching and literally no one wanted to get near the rim besides on a fast break plus the fact that Kevin Love has looked lost for most of these games.

I think lebron could cover pau relatively well with his outstanding "deny ball" defense. Marc would pose a much bigger (pun intended) problem if Chandler wasn't playing.
I hope Davis gets decent minutes against Spain so he gets experience against the gasol brothers.

I think it was a failure by Colangelo to bring in Anthony Davis to replace Blake Griffin. This team needs bigs so why add a rookie who may or may not play? It's like trading Griffin for a 12th man or something. Woulda preferred someone like Bynum, Monroe, or Cousins. We'll see if this major flaw comes back to bite them like it did with the flawed 2004 team. 2008 > 2012 team cuz of size and balance. But 86-80 vs a worse team than Spain should make USA realize that they're gonna need to bring it and play at a high level to get the gold. This team has a lot of flaws that can be exposed if those outside shots aren't falling.

I don't think they could have brought in anyone else, think Davis was the only reserve they had at the time.

Cousins is a big, but he has no discipline. Bynum probably would never accept given his health concerns and idk about Monroe.

Davis is not that bad...Coach K just refuses to play him because he is a rookie or whatever, not sure what his deal is there.

Davis can help with interior D if nothing else, he can swat with the best of them and can rebound and can dunk, something Chandler seems to have issues with at times in these games so far.
