For the love of God just give these dudes something to pacify them and put the machetes back in the holsters NBA. They've given up the fifty, you shouldn't be 'bleeding money' anymore like you've been crying about all this time, now sign a ****ing deal and let's play some ball.

I mean, there is always a chance they decided not to announce a deal because of JoePa.

            But I doubt it.

Seems like a blow up is going to happen tomorrow.

Hunter says sides aren't agreed on 50-50 revenue split, but that's semantics. They'll say nothing's agreed until a deal. But they're there.

                        11 hours of nothing, eh?

So what time should I expect the usual "Meeting is over and we could not make any progress on a deal" at? 3PM? 5PM? Because that's basically the road we're being led down at this point.

"There are many issues of importance. Right now, we're not failing and we're not succeeding. We're just there." Ya'll remember that scene from the movie "Pootie Tang" where Chris Rock was telling his boy, "Man it is hot today! I mean it is hot today! I just can't believe how hot it is today because it is hot today!" and then his boy says, "You know it's hot outside, right?" I got a feeling that's exactly how this meeting played out today.<!-- / message -->

Not saying it will get done, but I'm told a relevant dynamic is Stern et al taking these discussions back to their group.

At least Lebron wasn't in the meetings. He would've choked on his steak and held it up another 2 hours.

Overnight the ghosts of players from the 40's,50's and 60's eras will visit the current players in their dreams, tell them what fools they're being, how much they got paid back then and it'll be settled tomorrow.

So many of the system issues are linked, so it's a high-wire act of give-and-take to get them ironed out.
