If the reps say yes, both sides agree to a deal AND the complete union votes yes on the deal, the lockout will probably be lifted by this weekend and games will start on Dec. 15.

I'm not that optimistic this will happen.

Wow ...but hey they have had enough time....I think everybody is tired of the back and forth

Well, I would actually like to hear Aho's reasoning as well....I think if put to a vote, the players would approve.

I think it's fair to discuss that. I rather that then over-dissecting some player tweets. Lol

R Mason gives the impression he doesn't like the deal, but would accept as well.....

I think that it would pass if put to a player's vote......I just dont think it gets there. I think the 30 reps wont accept the offer and it never gets to a player vote and thats the shame of it all.

I think the 30 reps actually think Stern is bluffing, that he's scared of decertification, that decertification is actually a real solution and that Stern wont cancel the December games because he doesnt want to have to pay ESPN/ABC back for the Christmas games.

I think that the players are dead wrong. If they dont accept this deal, Stern will pretty much walk away from the table and let the hardliners do the negotiating from this point forward.

I do have one request here that should be considered:

If the Lockout continues on and there's no end in sight, can we please unsticky that FA Movement Thread since it'll be obvious that nobody is moving anywhere for a while? LOL

I know everyone would love some intel of NBPA meeting, but union officials made players hand over phones again on way into the room.

On Saturday night, Billy Hunter notified Sam Amick that he will submit the NBA's revised proposal -- with amendments presumably recommended by the union's executive committee -- for a vote by the 30 player representatives on Monday.

"We will vote on the NBA's proposal. The proposal will be presented with some proposed amendments," Hunter told Amick via text message.
