No because if they(Owners/Players)don't care, then why should we as fans care?

They care about something...just not what you care about

You really think Billy "gets it"

Hunter: "Unfortunately maybe we need to miss a few games for them to know there's resolve among the players."

Hunter on missing games: "I'm convinced that this is all just part of the plan."

I think them signing checks (to players likeTravis Oulaw and Eddy Curry) is part of the reason were here

anyway, I agree with Childress....but this argument has been rehashed enough.....at this point id settle for some 2k rookies and call it a day...

beyond fed up with both sides.

Who -are- the 6 teams that were making money? Clippers,Lakers,Knicks and...? Bulls,Celtics & Mavs?
I still don't think this will be solved until about 2014. Unless the owners somehow trick players into a movie studio situation.

Whatever happens maybe have to get there gradually over a few years, on the financial side at least

...but besides that.. You know, nobody asked Childress to come back when he left. I guess he felt the over seas league wasnt what he wanted long term

Nah Dre, he probably came back 'for the fans'. Couldn't stand to not be here 'for the fans'... since that's what seemingly all players are wanting us to know... #loveuguys. BS

I could throw out some anti Stern propaganda from Woj but that dude aint even trying to hide his bias

Anyway... how feesible is this to you?

The NBA has canceled the first two weeks of the regular season after being unable to reach agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement.

Players will now miss at least one paycheck and both sides could become even more deeply entrenched in their positions.

"Now it gets ugly," said one NBA general manager. "God help us."

Another general manager gave specifics on how long he believes the lockout could last.

"I think the best case scenario now is 50 games, but I can see the whole season gone."

If you love the NBA, I couldn't understand how anyone could stomach Stern right now.

I can stomach Stern as much as I can stomach Fisher and Hunter right now

Trust me when I say, Hunter disgust me equally. Fisher is just going along for the ride to NBA hell.

Question. If the NBA is loosing all this money, why are they still supporting the WNBA?

                                - I saw a video segment on Tristan Thompson and he's currently taking the bus to school because he doesn't have the money to buy a car. If you took a poll of all the recent draft picks, I bet you every single one of them would sign off on a 50-50 BRI split.

                                - I would like to hear David Stern make another appearance on the BS Report because Bill Simmons is the only person that has the balls (and the access) to grill him.

Stern needs to be asked, how much money is the NBA losing because of the charity known as the WNBA. He also needs to be asked if he cares so much about parity, why doesn't the NBA copy the NFL and adjust the schedules each season depending on how you finished in the standings? We all know the answer to this question is because every owner wants to have the Heat, Lakers, etc.. come to town so they can make money but I want to hear how Stern would dance around this question.
