wizard's owner: "Thank you MJ for making us money, but you've alienated yourself from the rest of the team. You have to realize that when you put on a jersey, you became a peer, not a boss. Because you didn't realize the distinction, you caused nearly every wizard player to resent you. Because they resent you, I think you can no longer make a positive impact on they're basketball lives. Thanks for your service, you will be surely missed."

Well, if they said that to him, then that would be the right way to get rid of him. Instead, they didn't really talk to him, and just showed him the door. That's what I think is the wrong way to do it.

Very well said, no matter how many chemp rings you have, you still gotta show respect towards your teammates. You can ahte them behind there back, but be human towards them. Like I said in my other thread, "MJ wouldnt let them into the locker room untill after he showered and had gotten dressed".

With that said, they good of left on better terms, but that is the past.

I think people should stop , esp the Wizards, casue it s over.

The bottom line is: WASHINGTON IS NOT SUPPOSED TOBE GOOD AT BSKETBALL

lol, well that's a sad way to look at it.

They have a pretty decent team. I think all the pieces are there actually for them to be a good team. They just need to jell together and get on the same page. If Arenas can learn Jordan's offensive schemes and make the team play together, oh and Kwame plays better, then they are definitely up there. They have a good mix of vets and young guys. They just need to play together better.

Man, do you know before injury they would have been in the playoffs last year, and the guys then didn't complain. MJ is just competitive. Guys like Kwame loves to cry, and not just play, and guys like Haywood can't play D, or grab rebounds. Look at Rip. He learned from MJ, so why couldn't the others learn. They were using him as the reason to not play hard. They just wanted to get paid, and lollygag on the court.

Why is it those guys never learned to dive for a loose ball, because MJ didn't shower with them? Why would that offend you. He still ran the team and we all know it, and he was working under an agreement that the team would sell him his shares back when he was done with his 2 years. Don't say he just put the uni on to poison the team. He didn't, and they cried about everything. MJ this, and MJ that, and they are still talking about it. Arenas won't make that much of a difference. He predicted a playoff berth, which he shouldn't have, and now we'll see if these highly paid professionals can really play since the monkey that held them down is gone.

I never said MJ doesnt have a will to win, he is an awsome b-ball player, who always wants to win

With that said, well, he isnt egzactly the type to lead a ****ty team. The fact is, this team need time to develop, and MJ was just a set back. He brought in old guys, aka, Charles oakley, and while you can argue that wile he was teaching them the game, but they still were not getting the PT.

I jsut think MJ is another player is is a great b-ball player, but he is not fit to be a manager, or someone who the whole team relys on for everything

With that said, the Wizards def used him. They used him to sell tickets, but I think he could of done better here in DC. He just didnt have a good attitude. While Kwwame is a cry baby, maybe if MJ would of posedted a better attitude, maybe, jsut maybe, Kwame, along wiht the other players would of gone in the off season with a different attitude. (The saying "treat otehrs the way you want to be treated comes in handy here)

While this is all speculation, and soley my opinion, take it for what it is worth. I understand your point, and I am simply palying devils advocate, and playing the other side (I am a Pacers fan, but live in VA, so I have to watch the Wiz kids

                        Again, just my .02,

This is no excuse for the 2001-2002 Wiz team. Oak wasn't there, and neither were the other old guys. He had Rip, Alexander, Whitney, Jahidi White, and such likes, and they went on a double digit winning streak until Rip got a groin injury, and MJ's knee couldn't take it anymore at the same time. Other than that they were playoff bound, so MJ was doing something right wasn't he?

The new guys just didn't want to play. Maybe he just couldn't motivate them enough, but they sure played like they could care less if they won or not. I also think MJ can lead scrubs. Do you realize he wasn't always winning games. Remember he played with guys like Dave Corzine, and a bunch of other guys noone remembers. They even made it to the playoffs with him leading. He worked himself, and his teammates into that position.

The first year the guys wanted to listen, and they won games, the second year, they whined too much , and played worse. you know it's all true.
