The problem is that Jordan is a dinosaur in todays league...Jordan came up in an era where playing hard was expected of everyone in the league...todays playas dont appreciate the work ethic it takes to be great, they rely heavily on their natural abilities...think about it, Jordan came in L when there were guys like Magic/Bird/Malone/Zeke...those guys were all fierce competitors that werent afraid to mix it up in the game(and very fundamentally sound)...so to be among them you had to outwork them...so thats all he knows is how to outwork his opponents..these young guys dont know anything about that...so dont sit and dog jordan cuz he somehow alienated the team, I just think superstars expectations are much more demanding than regular playas and thats the reason they are superstars..it is never good enough with superstars, they always want to win....not only that they understands that its the little things that helps secure victories...

I'm sorry, I don't buy into the "players back then were fierce(r) competitors. If anything, I think bringing those guy back in there prime to play at present time, they wouldn't be nearly as affective. People tend to remember only the good things about athletes from the pass and rush to call them the greatest. For instance, a lot of people will call Ali the best fighter ever, but I have a strong hunch(and I'll get killed for this) that he wouldn't last 8 rounds with Lennox Louis or 2 rounds with a 19 year old Tyson for that matter.

if u brought those players back today they would absolutly school these young kids. they knew how to play D at all times and as a team. I wish the Bad Boys, Celts, or Showtime was in their prime today. They would dominate.

yea sure, they'd dominate alright....Bird would be Croshere, Magic would be Tinsley, Thomas would be Wagner.......alright maybe I'm exaggerating(a lot), but I'd doubt they'd dominate....I watch classic games everyday, and these guys aren't that good. Kareem and Wilt would get dunked on all day by Shaq, and Zeke wasn't as talented as A.I. is today, I'd say Bird would have the best chance at being a great player, but I'd doubt it, and I'm not including Jordan cause he's not a retro player.
