Maybe...just maybe...their real purpose is to find out how much the Nuggets want Arron Afflalo? I think he's the Bulls REAL target but since he's an restricted free agent, they'd have to put their eggs in one basket to get him because the Nuggets has reported that they'll match any offer. So if they miss out on Afflalo, then Crawford or Richardson might be signed already. I don't know. Just my way of making an excuse for the Bulls.

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
I love cp3. One of my favorite players. But he's not worth a 7'1 offensively skilled center and a 6'11 pf who handles the rock like a guard.
IMO the lakers should get a pg who is pretty decent at passing, shooting, and decent speed, that way we can keep our core size.
I really like aaron brooks and rodney stuckey for this team. Thoughts?#1 Laker fan

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
Way too many varibles in the air right now. We only have 5 guys under contract not counting Marco Belinelli who's a RFA. It all depends on what trades could be made to put around Paul. Like I mentioned if we could snag a Gay if Memphis would move him for salary purposes and make a 3 or 4 year offer to Oden (then have him remain healthy and productive) we could make a real playoff push.
I think this deal will eventually go through though so I don't think it will matter.
When you say Gay you mean a player like "Gay" right. Not the actually basketball player that plays in Memphis?
And Greg Oden accepted the qualifying offer from Portland...so he's off the market as wellEricmaynor3.com

How about a CP3-Amare-Chandler lineup? I'd prefer that one if I was the Knicks.I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. Than the one who comes up like an angel and is nothing but a devil. - Malcolm XComment

ORLANDO, Fla. -
Local 6 sports director David Pingalore has learned through sources that Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard will report to training camp on Friday, but the superstar may soon fire his agent and request a trade from the team.
SOUND OFF: Post, read on Local 6 Facebook page
Howard is represented by California based-agent, Dan Fegan, who may soon be fired, sources say. The same sources say that Howard's father, Dwight Howard Sr., will request that his son be traded from the Magic.#RespectTheCultureComment

Billy Hunter tells Bloomberg that he anticipates Chris Paul will be in training camp. Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
I like Chandler alot but the reason he made such a difference in Dallas is because the whole team was committed to team defense..Kidd,Marion,Dirk,DeShawn, etc. were constantly communicating and helping each other on d. He was most certainly the anchor to that d. If the rest of the team doesn't commit in NY like they did in Big D, Chandler's impact will be minute in positive effect and Knick fans will be complaining about another bad contract on the books. He ain't exactly Bill Russell man.Last edited by NINJAK2; 01-03-2012, 09:33 PM.EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death.
