Leaving aside the fairness aspect, if I were the LAC GM I would definitively deal knowing that NOH is in a weak position ... I would make it clear for them that one of either Gordon (whom I perfer the most out of the 2) and MIN pick is out of range (Bledsoe is not).

If they still push for something else, I would include other future picks (1 or 2) and a Williams for Jack ... and that is as a last resource card. To me, by not doing this deal LAC lose nothing thus by making it they would gain more than a lot.

NOH cant say the same thing, the more this prolongues the worse for them to get a better propposal and for them to deal with the wackyness that would be having Paul on the regular season ... if this extend, god take care of Paul, even while his intendtions arent as noble as giving something worthy back to NOH with his departure.

And leave NO with nothing in return? League should take a beating if that's the case, turning down 3 separate trades. Telling ya this is the league posturing to contract NO once it all plays out.

If the Clippers can't get a deal done, then no one is gonna want to deal with the Hornets. And regardless of whether he gets traded, he's leaving, period. I don't get Stern's point of wanting Paul there. If he leaves next year, NO get's nothing for him, and Stern will look like a pure dumba**

They're in the strongest position possible. They have the backing of all the owners AND David Stern.

In other news, Dwight saying he wants to stay in Orlando if things change is pointless. Nothing is changing there any time soon, so why bother even talking about this?

Someone should tell Dwight, that it's hard to reach out to other teams when all the phone calls are teams asking about what it takes to get you on their team.

Thing is, I truly don't think he knows what he wants. I think a lot of people (Think family, baby momma/jump-off, etc.) are in his ear right now.
