Same thing with Tim Tebow. Herm Edwards mentioned this, but while the media and fans, etc. are so concerned about who should get credit for the Broncos' wins, and the fact that fans may or may not put so much on him, the only guy NOT making it about him at all is Tim Tebow himself.

Not comparing Dwight or CP3 to Tebow though. Just saying, the media chooses what goes on air and how often. How much of us would actually like to hear training camp reports on our favorite teams?

And when teams start playing their preseason games, how much do you guys bet ESPN and the media will over-analyze the "chemistry" between CP3 and the Hornets and Dwight and the Magic, and the states of their teams?

It's getting out of hand for sure, but only because we hear about it 10 times an hour.
Totally agree, and it's not even just my own team I want to hear regular updates on, but other teams too, including small market teams with young up and coming players. I don't need to hear the same rumors jammed into my ears repeatedly, maybe just report facts instead of speculation and ESPN would be much better off in general.

Apparently not......@ESPNSteinLine: ESPN sources: Nene and Nuggets reach terms on five-year, $67 million deal.

@WojYahooNBA Nene has agreed to a 5 year, $65M deal plus bonuses to stay with Denver, source tells Y! Sports

          Holy Outlaw!

Ok, I am legitimately scared now because I see the makings of another FA class like last year's.

EDIT: At this point, it is really Duhwight or Bust and you know what, other than Deron give the Magic whatever they want and I don't care if we have to give them half of the roster(slight hyperble).

Howard\CP3 is the biggest story out right now.

ESPN is every major news outlet will report on the biggest news story.

Whether either one of them say ANYTHING, it is still going to be talked about, and "sources" will come out saying they said things they clearly didnt. They are not calling up the networks and asking them to continue to speak on it.

Thats how it is, it will not change.

So that leaves Sammy Dalembert as the last big man to get paid? Houston is prob gonna throw that $$ at him, and NJ, other teams who NEED a center might better start thinkin bout it too...

Maybe they throw that money at Dalembert and put Brook at the 4?

Plus, you never know. They may sell Nick Young on playing in Brooklyn. I'm sure a meeting or two with Jay-Z would help

Yeah, it's crazy that the youngest MVP ever, Derrick Rose, has signed a 5-year, $94M extension, and there hasn't been ONE word of it on ESPN. I'd be surprised if they report that Nene just agreed to resign with the Nuggets, which would probably put fans at ease.

But I know when SportsCenter comes on tonight, I'll get another update of a trade that hasn't happened yet, and I'll hear the exact same thing.

Looks like Lakers are going back after Paul...

The Lakers are making another run at Chris Paul, who remains in limbo as the NBA league office has taken over negotiations on behalf of the Hornets.

A trade to send Paul to the Clippers has stalled.

The Lakers are looking to build a deal around Pau Gasol but will need a third team to facilitate a trade and help the Hornets receive the young talent and picks that the NBA is insisting upon.
