Lol SC had Jordan Hamilton listed as acquisition under Mavs. They did the same thing on draft day too. Need to get Afflalo in camp and I like the team we have.

When any other move gets made, there's a comment or two and we move on, but any tweet about one of those guys (regardless of the source) is analyzed to death. ESPN is obviously reporting on what everyone seemingly wants to talk about, so I can't be mad. And it's not just my man Drewski with the trade machines, master plans, Laker praise, and super long analyses, it's pretty much the majority talking Lakers, Howard, and Paul.

And since Red and I basically represent the Rockets in these here parts, no we haven't officially amnestied Thabeet. Sadly, he's the only "true center" on our team (and I hope we stay clear of Dalmbert and it stays that way). #tank
No flack but they're the only ones who come out continually lying, making up parts of trades that aren't there, and generally throwing all kinds of mess on the wall hoping it will stick

Most of us want this howard paul stuff to end, and as soon as we get by it here they go again... its being dragged out just the same as the lebron and carmelo thing

They dont report news they come out like the national star magazine and trying to get the upper hand on trades that arent even happening

Anyway, enough on them... Im surprised Nene re-upped with Denver, then again im not. He got paid and not that he would do it but some of these guys will probably sign then later demand a trade afterwards or be malcontents otherwise because thats how things are now

I just think that Ex said it best when he stated that he won't "move the needle" in Houston. I feel like if we're clearly not good enough to contend, we shouldn't make moves that will have us sneaking in the eighth seed AT BEST.

Scola and Martin are our two oldest players I believe, so if we are rebuilding, it makes sense to move them. However, a move for Gasol seems like a "win now" move, so I didn't understand moving them instead of our young pieces (which I would imagine would be more appealing to the Hornets anyway). Honestly, the whole thing had me scratching my head, and aside from some hurt feelings in KM and Scola, I'm glad the trade fell through.

The question you gotta ask now is, does Gasol have the same value to Morey without another Gasol or a Nene to pair him with? My guess is no, but who knows.
That's exactly what I didn't get. I understand Gasol is a great player to add to your front court, but why move the older established guys (Scola/Martin)? Pau Gasol/Scola/Barnes/Martin/Lowry is pretty good, I'd say. Kind of why I never understood why those were the guys (Scola/Martin) that were being sent to NO.

Come to think of it Stern said the original deal needed more "youth and picks"

Maybe they never put the younger talent on the table from the Rockets (Patterson/T. Will) + Lakers went and got '12 1st Dal, along with the TPE for cap relief.

Thing is I agree, don't think Pau has same value without another body up front. Unless Houston has found something else attractive. But then it gets cloudy.

It definitely looks like a big is on the menu.

Very happy to see Nene staying in Denver, and I love the trade for Rudy Fernandez and Corey Brewer. Now, we just need to bring back Afflalo. Still, I'm liking the makeup of the 2011-12 Nuggets.

you better tell Rudy he'll get minutes or else he'll request a buyout...

can't believe the guy told the Mavs to release him because he was upset over the competition at SG....

I mean come on Rudy if you think your better than VC and Terry than show up and prove it...what a copout by him after the Mavs gave away Jordan Hamilton to get him.

Funny because I was happy when Mavs drafted Jordan Hamilton and then when he got traded, my buddy was going nuts saying best move ever.

Cant wait to laugh at that one tomorrow at work..

So by my count, the Nuggets turned Melo into Andre Miller, Gallo, Moz, Rudy, Brewer, and Hamilton. Good. God.

looks like they did they make those moves because they want to try and get D.Steve back....i hope he re-signs because him and Delonte West and are two rugged perimeter defenders they will need without Chandler around anymore

                  -----------------------------------
There is room on the Mavs’ roster for the return of rugged swingman DeShawn Stevenson after Rudy Fernandez and Corey Brewer were shipped to Denver.

It’s a matter of whether Stevenson is willing to come back to Dallas for the veteran’s minimum, which is less than a third of the $4.1 million salary he earned as a valued role player on the Mavs’ championship team.

Agent Mark Bartelstein said Stevenson, a defensive stopper who averaged 5.3 points per game and shot 38.8 percent from 3-point range last season, has multiple offers. Bartelstein indicated that Stevenson would probably make a decision within the next day.

The 6-foot-5 Stevenson is tremendously popular in the Mavs’ locker room and immensely respected by coach Rick Carlisle, who appreciated Stevenson’s toughness and professionalism while bouncing back and forth from the end of the bench to the starting lineup last season

Well odds are Chris Paul will be better then anyone they take with that pick from Minnesota, plus there's that star power to add a sense of relevancy to the clippers.

I also just want him to go to the Clippers cause I don't mind seeing a CP3/Blake combo compared to a CP3/Kobe combo, also offer the best trade package imo lol

So who's gonna be considered the 6th man in Dallas? Was studying and for some reason thought of this. Lol

And oooh, this type of thing probably is why Rondo's name always pops up in trade rumors

According to multiple sources, Rondo’s errors were being pointed out when he arose and began discussing the mistakes of his teammates. Loudly. Using harsh language.

Coach Doc Rivers got up and fired back, and Rondo threw a bottle that shattered the video screen. He bolted from the practice facility and was prevented from returning when he tried later.

“It had nothing to do with Doc,” Rondo said of the outburst. “Doc said something to me because nobody else said something to me. But it wasn’t directed toward Doc. I was frustrated about the loss. I think we were 0-2, I was on film a lot and I was frustrated. Doc wasn’t even running the clips. I was just venting. Lawrence Frank and coach (Armond) Hill were running the film session. Doc was just sitting on the floor. I was just frustrated, and I wanted things to be addressed that weren’t being addressed. It’s as simple as that. I stood up and I did what I did. Doc stood up and said something, and that was it. I stormed out and left. That was it.

“I went home that night and thought about my actions. I talked to KG (Kevin Garnett), and I came back the next day and apologized to the team.”
