Anybody know why Arron Afflalo still hasn't been signed by Denver? Unless I missed it, I don't think he's signed yet. I understand that he's a restricted free agent and Denver will match any offer by any other team BUT what's taking the Nuggets so long?

That's a good question. There hasn't been a lot of reporting on the situation locally, either. Afflalo did tell the team to save him a roster spot after Nene signed, so I'd imagine it's just a matter of getting the money and years correct on the contract. Hopefully, he'll get signed today or tomorrow.Currently Playing:

Are Martin and Chandler coming back to the Nuggets in the spring? If they do, the Nuggets have to be a dark horse for the title."My body could stand the crutches but my mind couldn't stand the sideline"- Michael JordanComment

Not to say it's going to happen BUT I'd be shocked if Denver opted not to sign him and someone signs him away on an offer sheet. He would have been the PERFECT 2-guard for the Bulls. He's everything you ask for in a 2-guard for the Bulls offense. Someone who can play off of Rose without having to dominate the ball. And someone that can give you solid defense. Afflalo was the prefect fit. I like Rip and I think he's definitely an upgrade from Bogans BUT Afflalo would have made much more of a difference.I have more respect for a man who let's me know where he stands, even if he's wrong. Not that I've seen Williams overseas, but I would be shocked if he got impactful playing time.
Again I don't know if Dallas has worked him out extensively and sees something but Williams was nowhere near the level of a Tyson Chandler and he was a borderline starter to begin with.
He's a freak athelete better than Chandler in that regards...he just didn't have any b-ball IQ in New Jersey.
Put it this way with J.Kidd he'll be no worse than Mikki Moore or Chandler on Offense. He's the type of big that will catch nothing but lob's from Kidd easy sheap buckets when he's on the floor.
Probably will supplant Mahinmi as the backup because he's a much better defender right now. I can see him playing 10-12 minutes per game.
Kinda like Brandan Wright a young prospect who could be out the league soon or finally the light comes on for him.NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Even if the 3 of them were to be back, Denver would never compete for the title at it's state... We're rebuilding...Comment
