I see that Terrence Williams was waived by the Rockets.

Not surprised, that ****ing waste of talent.

There's a guy on the Suns board who has the BIGGEST hard-on for Terrence Williams. He's absolutely convinced he's like Scottie Pippen or something. He includes him in every ****ing trade proposal he makes. Absolutely inexplicable infatuation.

Rolling your eyes for what.. haha. Fisher is a **** player now, has been for a while. He would provide some leadership I guess, but nothing on the court. He'd actually hurt any team he goes to once he steps onto the floor.

BTW, Spurs are going to sign Patty Mills. So there goes that idea.

The Spurs don't need leadership from anyone

Source confirms @WojYahooNBA report that Patty Mills will join San Antonio. Two- year deal. Mills was playing in China.

Mills gets a player option in the second year, worth approximately $1 million. Portland renounced rights.

                    MIA

LOS ANGELES -- Derek Fisher, who was traded to the Houston Rockets from the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday, was not with the Rockets Saturday for their game against the Los Angeles Clippers at Staples Center.

"I haven't seen Derek yet," Rockets coach Kevin McHale said. "I have not talked to him."

"Not with team" was written next to Fisher's name on the Rockets' roster signed by McHale, who did not know what the team's plans were for Fisher.

"That's not in my job description," McHale said. "He's not here. If he was here he'd play. He's not here. I haven't seen him yet."

Fisher had been the NBA's active leader for the longest regular-season consecutive games streak, having played in 537 consecutive games heading into Saturday. He had not missed a game since the 2004-05 season, when he was with the Golden State Warriors.

The 16-year veteran, who turned 37 in August, was traded Thursday to the Rockets along with the first-round pick acquired from Dallas in the Lamar Odom trade for center Jordan Hill.

I don't see the point in his career even continuing at this point.

I wonder if Mitch and company had warned Fish that they were trading him.

If it was just sudden news, I wouldn't be surprised if Fish was depressed/deeply upset. He's about to retire and his team trades him.

Rockets don't need his services at all.

Because he's a flopping annoyance pest that I hate with every bone in my body, so of course he'd go from enemy #1 right to enemy #2 since he'd fit right in. Also rolling my eyes since it would be gross for anyone to go from the Lakers to the Spurs. Huge rivals for 2 decades, no player who played such a huge role for one should ever go to the other.

But as you said, Mills going to SA puts the kaibosh on that idea. Good.

Uh, Robert Horry left Los Angeles after their 3-peat and joined San Antonio to win two more titles. I hated Horry before his run with the Spurs, but grew to love his "clutchness." Derek Fisher is a whole other story, and thankfully he won't be joining the Spurs.

Patty Mills is a nice pick-up, but he may not see much time with Neal playing adequate at the point. I still like having another true point guard on the roster that can spell Parker. Especially with Corey Joseph being a developmental/project player at this point.

Now, Spurs just need to find another big man and we'll be set to take on anyone.

Plus I mean, let's say you love your team. You've built rivalries over your lengthy tenure, then your team makes a shrewd business move to dispose of you. You're hurt, and a little angry. What better way to get some revenge than by signing with one of the rivals?

Yeah but just because my team screwed me, thats not gonna alleviate the hate and rivalry that I PERSONALLY feel with that team.

Then again, as said before, fans care about rivalries way more than players do nowadays.
