So basically Deron Williams is hoping he's not going to die or have to play overseas.

Former Lakers point guard Derek Fisher is in Oklahoma City to finalize talks on a contract. Fisher was spotted at OKC's Will Rogers World Airport early this morning with Thunder GM Sam Presti and other members of the Thunder front office. Fisher has reportedly been in final negotiations with the Thunder on a contract that would bring him to the Western Conference leaders after he clears waivers.

Oklahoma City does not have an open roster spot so the team would have to waive a player to make room for the five-time world champion.
Thunder forward Kevin Durant called Fisher, "a Thunder guy", when it comes to character and leadership during a session with reporters before Oklahoma City's game with the Utah Jazz. At that time Durant declined to speculate on whether a deal would get done

My joke isn't about whether or not he's going to leave, the more time goes on the more unsure I am whether he leaves. But no matter what he does, he's gonna play there at some point next year.

Haven't seen Ronny play all year, what's his deal?

Anything to get Dexter Pittman as far away from the hardwood as possible is a good thing.

Assuming Turiaf is healthy, good pickup as your backup center.

Nope, in a way he's a poor man's Noah. One advantage Chicago has is the hustle plays and second chance opportunities and he'll put a slight dent in that area.

Nevermind, I see that Ronny had a broken bone in his wrist all year, that's why he hasn't played.

Wow, Miami scored on this one. They needed another big man, anyone except Pittman.

He's been hurt all year and the few times he was healthy, he was nothing more than a cheerleader.

That's not to say he'll be doing the same, but that's pretty much what's been going on with him this year.
