Exactly. The only big Miami has that will do the dirty work is Haslem. BUT compared to the Bulls bigs, he's undersized. Turiaf is big enough and if he's healthy could give the Bulls problems in one of the few advantages that the Bulls have over the Heat. Let's just hope Coach Spoelstra makes the mistake by not playing him when he need to.

Wow, that's an underrated pickup for the Heat. Mostly because Turiaf actually has a semblance of an offensive game but is still a solid defensive player. They'll lose a little bit on the defensive end when they take out Anthony for him but they'll gain some on the offensive. Pittman is horrible and Curry still seems out of it.

Lol, I think the Heat will love that they have a center who can actually finish at the rim..

            Turiaf has an offensive game?

That's seriously news to me because all along I've known/seen him get nearly all of his points off putbacks/alley oops.

              Exactly.

and finishes at the rim.....something they don't have with Eddy, Joel and Dex....I thought I remember him having a little 10 footer in LA, could be wrong.

I don't think anyone is saying he's a beast in the post/ creator or anything..

Question: Is it still considered having an offensive game when others are creating it for you?

I don't know...seems like a lateral move for them(which luckily it doesn't hurt them)because I don't see how it makes them better than what they were.

He brings touch at the rim...plus he has a little J.....that's an immediate upgrade offensively.I've any center on the roster....

Someone said he has an "offensive game"? Hadn't seen that.

EDIT: I see SF said that. I guess he does in the sense you cant completely disreagrd him during a possesion.

Can't wait for the Heat to try out Oden as their Center.

Turiaf worth a crack why not?

                    NO not buying Kaman out?

As a pick up its low risk high reward best case

In any case its low Risk...but yeah he had a little mid range J, and rebounded hustled and the rest as you guys already said

If he can still play he's not worse than UH really

I said he has a semblance of an offensive game and I was comparing him to the other three that the Heat have on their roster at center. Pittman and Curry are bad and Anthony is a defensive specialist, so yes, compared to them, Turiaf has an offensive game. Anthony can't even get put backs.

Good pickup, always like Turiaf when he was with LA.

Looking like the Spurs might land Diaw. I'd definitely rather he be out there than Bonner/Blair.

Diaw is still useful man even though he gained a gang of weight...as long as you arent leaning on him to be option #1 or 2

So the Spurs added S Jax and Diaw with dumping Richard Jefferson

                              I think thats pretty good

Diaw can still rebound and pass and hit mid range jumpers
