Haha definitely. Perhaps Nightmare and Dream were thrown too loosely there I see ya.Oh, don't get me wrong. I think Roy would be a solid fit for the Bulls. Your explanation basically echos my thoughts. However, to call it a "dream" for the Bulls OR "nightmare" for the Heat is going a little far. NOW if Dwayne Wade was coming to the Bulls, then that would be the Bulls dream and the Heat's nightmare.
Yeah, not sure about those knees, that's a definite issue. Guy's just so talented though.Follow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
Exactly, and the Hawks made the 2nd biggest FA mistake of the decade, outside of the Rashard Lewis one. Nene doesn't deserve more then 12 million, and that might be a little high for some one who hasn't exactly proved himself to be a top 20 or even 30 player.It makes sense for the Nuggets for the simple fact that if he's not worth a MAX deal then why pay him for the sake of keeping him on the team? It's the same mistake Atlanta did last year when they paid Joe Johnson a max deal, when Johnson is clearly not even a top 15 player right now.
Also I'd say Johnson isn't even top 35 player...still can't get that horrific Semi final against Orlando out of my mind. To give him a max contract after that terrible performance let me know exactly what I needed to about the Hawk's front office.Comment

were not scared of roy. He's not the player he used to be. But if the bulls get jamal crawford , i would be a little concern. But how about them clippers?
i hope they sign dwight howard they deserve it a they would gain a lot of fans in LA when kobe retire. Heck they can start there own mini three with with Chris Paul ( doubt it,but could happen) , and blake griffin........... now thats entertaining."Sometimes i sit and piss myself" - Quote Cmebfresh

Yeah, true, but didn't he still show skill in the playoffs last year? I swear he had a 25 points in 25 minutes game and almost single handedly won one against the Mavs.
Actually, now that I look up the numbers, he played 26 mins and 29 mins the next two games and only scored 14 points total, so yeah I'm gonna agree, although I'm still debating with myself whether he'd still be an asset as a non-primary scorer with flashes of dominance.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

In all seriousness it's a sad day, when Nene is considered All Star caliber, what's happened to the NBA big man? He's like sasquatch....Comment

Heard on the radio this afternoon that the Celtics are looking to trade Rondo and Davis for Chris Paul. Has anyone else heard this?Comment

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
Why in the hell would the Celtics trade Rondo? I don't even....Chris Mannix from SI tweeting on the Celtics supposedly putting Rondo on the trading block and the potential of CP3 being traded.
@ChrisMannixSI
ESPN report that Boston would move Rondo in the right deal not surprising. Several GM's discussed Rondo w/C's as recently as 2011 deadline.
@ChrisMannixSI
I've been told any deal involving @CP3 is unlikely as long as the NBA is the de facto owner of the Hornets. They don't want that PR mess.
@ChrisMannixSI
The decision to trade Paul is a landscape changing one that the league would very much prefer be done by an independent owner.
@ChrisMannixSI
I've always thought a Rondo-Paul swap made some sense. Rondo a younger, cheaper but still very good player who is tied into long term dealOriginally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

The Bulls would be better off getting Richardson or someone of his elk. Roy isn't a dynamic, impact player with his serious knee problems. He sees himself as a shot-creator on offense, which would be a hinderance to Rose, and a liability defensively. At this point he's only a slight upgrade over Bogans, IMO.Yeah, true, but didn't he still show skill in the playoffs last year? Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
To give them more offensive fire power. Outside of Pierce, the scoring load seems a bit unsteady. Rondo is their younger, very cost efficient, piece that they can offer up in a package to get a higher caliber player that better fits their needs. I think Rondo is amazing, but it doesn't come as a shock that they'd be looking to move him.
Things to also consider: Pierce is signed for 3 more years total, Allen and Garnett are on the final years of their contracts. Celtics need to decide what their identity will be going forward.Follow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment

Exactly, he's not to be depended upon at this point to give you consistent production, something that Chicago needs desperately on the perimeter.Yeah, true, but didn't he still show skill in the playoffs last year? Imagine them getting TMac and BRoy? That would be cool but I'd be worried if that's what they're depending on in Chicago. So I'm assuming the TMac report was premature or what?Comment

Rondo has been the reason those dudes have even been able to keep playing at as high of a level as they have these past couple years.To give them more offensive fire power. I can see if they're trying to make a Rondo for Paul deal or trying to acquire Dwight, but anything other than those two deals seem boneheaded to me. Rondo is the engine that keeps that car moving.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Chatter is around Dwight Dwill and CP but it's just chatter so I pay that no mind. I can definitely see them packaging Rondo for a prize piece or two depending on what happens. I don't think they'd trade him for a lateral move by any means. He's been integral but his offense is wishy washy to say the least. Great defense, plays hard, and is a solid point man no question. I really like Rondos game, just off season rumblings now that things are rolling. Curious what vtheyd try to package with Rondo, perhaps Jeff Green? Still trying to wrap my head around the Perkins trade.Rondo has been the reason those dudes have even been able to keep playing at as high of a level as they have these past couple years.
