I really like this move if true for the Knicks. Rebounding & Defense. IMO you can't really put a price tag on that. Chandler brings both. Very interesting turn of events

Yeah not huge on their other pg prospects and not sure Chandler going there, as the team is constructed, is worth a great deal of they have to cut ties with Chauncey at same time. Chauncey may be declining but he logged solid minutes until he was hurt (obviously Chaunceys health is also a point of debate on this kne). Chandlers value is way bloated. Not sure what to think, I like Chandler but it is what it is. Probably will be eating my words when it's all said and done.

Just caught that too. Definitely worth exploring, and creates a big threat to teams like GSW and LAC who are hesitating to part ways with their pieces. Smells like leverage for the NO front office now.

League sources say the Houston has been trying to put together a three-team deal with the Lakers and New Orleans in which Paul goes to LA.

LOL @ the notion that the Knicks would trade Amare to get Paul. That is simply absurd. Now THERE'S a situation where the media should be rightfully destroyed. That's just irresponsible stupidity.

And if Houston were to help LA get Paul, then...well....

Bobcats have been linked to possibly Reggie Williams, we need a shooter on the team, he would be solid depth off the bench as we tank.

Whoa, the Knicks are tripping, I am not trading amare away, indeed the Knicks need to upgrade at certain spots but to sign Tyson and then trade amare to NO, its crazy. The Knicks are going crazy.

Remind me never to read espn.com again.

Signing Chandler, sources said, could free up the Knicks to offer star forward Amare Stoudemire to the New Orleans Hornets in a trade scenario for Chris Paul, who badly wants to reunite with Chandler after their time together with the Hornets.

That's not going to happen. If they sign Chandler, then Amare gets to play the 4 for good, his true position.

A front court featuring 'Melo, Amare, and Tyson, I like!

If they also get Hill, this has the makings of a solid season.

The depth won't be the best, not even close, however you would potentially have either Landry or Hill off the bench, along with Toney and Iman. Being a rookie, I don't expect much from Iman, other than solid defense. Even Jeffries provides a spark defensively.

As much as having CP would be great, I would welcome that line up, up there.
