Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)

I'm really intrigued by what Houston can potentially do.

However, I'm not in favor of a Jamal Crawford move to the Bulls. The guy stops the ball on offense, can take some horrible shots and doesn't play defense. If the Bulls paid him like a 6th man, then my opinion changes. But if the Bulls pay him to be their starting 2-guard, I think that's a huge mistake.

Fair enough. If Rondo is unhappy it could be possible. But I don't think Boston would pursue it on their own.
Yeah they were willing to give him up for Paul, but that would not require them to change the identity of their team. Its another PG that is like Rondo just better. But Rondo for Dwight would drastically change the team.

IT IS! SLY DOING THIS DURING THE CP3 TRADE.

Seriously, it Dooling is anywhere as good as in the game this is a steal. (never seen him play).

I really hope the Bulls get Young and that he evolves from being a volume scorer.

I don't see how we're only being singled out. Brandon has no knees Roy? Isn't everyone giving him like a 2-3 year shelf life? I'm not trying to be argumentative but really? Like I said in hindsight it's bad but we could have done a lot worse like Adam Morrison for instance.

Dragging this post back up here again because there's other teams that exist not named "Lakers". Do you guys think Dooling is essentially just replacing Delonte West since West is reportedly signing elsewhere, or do you think perhaps the Celtics are getting ready to trade Rondo and will end up with a C that they covet and an older PG that needs someone like Dooling to give him a break?

No way is he a "replacement" for Rondo.

I am positive he'll replace West/give them a legit backup PG.

BTW, I think West is on his way to the Lakers. JMHO.

Not sure. Haven't given specific thought to it solution-wise. But I'm not the one paid to make the system. All I know is that this stuff doesn't really happen in other sports. Maybe an incident or two (holdouts mainly, I guess)

Just stating it, people always talk about "Kobe has X amount of playoff games", it's a fact that applies. The games were played.

Next thing. Lakers win two rings (3 finals) with Brook instead of Bynum? Nope.

I almost kind of hope a certain center does go to Boston.

So are you against Bynum, or against the idea of him being better than Lopez?

With this CP3 trade, I have to change my signature, sadly.

If we D12, I might fall out of my chair. We were just saying how slim the possibility of this was.

Lol, **** no I'm not saying Dooling is going to be a starter, but I think he can be the type of guy that comes off the bench and gives you a good amount of minutes if the starting PG is an older Billups-type guy. Whereas I feel like Rondo is so young and runs all day that they wouldn't have much use for Dooling with him.
