Once again, yall favorite reporter Chris said Lakers' stopped the trade because they would have no big men besides a suspended Bynum.

      ^^^
I bet the other Laker fans are happy, trading the 2nd best PF and odom for CP3 isn' smart...unless we would have gotten okafor as a place holder and signed a QUALITY PF.

Reports are owners squashed Hou-LA-NO deal, citing conflict of interest for NBA-owned NO. But sources say Pau didn’t want to go to Hou, too.
So we got Odom crying on SAS Radio show and now Gasol supposedly didn't want to go to Houston.

Arguably their two best and most consistent players on offense.....
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

It just seems to me Stern screwed over the Hornets with the veto of the deal from a long-term standpoint??

Wonder how Gasol/Odom handle this when they come to practice???

True, but like you said earlier quantity means nothing when it has less talent and Pau > Martin and Scola. Although that additional 1st is alot.

Guess it's the Lakers fault for having the pieces and talent available to do the deals they decide to do.

Because they knew the other owners would not let this fly.

Gasol doesn't have no trade and he is under contract. He would've had no choice.

Im furious. This move wasn't for now as much as it was kinda for now and for the future once Kobe moves on. I can deal with a makeshift PF situation. It hurt but it was the only way the Lakers could begin adjusting for the future. Whatever. Honestly too upset and sickened to put together clear thoughts.
