There are two menisci , called the lateral and medial mensici. The difference between Roy and Paul is that Roy had NEITHER of these in both knees, so it was complete bone-on0bone in both knees. Paul only had one removed in his left knee, most likely the medial one, which does bring an increased risk of problems in that knee down the road.

I don't think Paul will be too affected. If anything, he'll have to alter his game down the road, but he'll still be an All-Star at least until the 30-32 age range. That's in 4-6 years, which is most likely how long he'll be extended.

(Thank god in the internet for letting me quickly research that haha)

The Laker fans don't give a crap about Bynum. But he is their own pawn to give to Orlando for Dwight Howard.

      Seriously.

If they don't get it their way...kicking & stomping I tell you.
Not true I'm happy keeping Bynum if we get CP3, just not a fan of losing our entire 4 depth.

Dwight goes elsewhere? Shrug. Bynum looks in shape, shed a few pounds, and said he's moving lighter than he ever has. I'm excited for the post presence Mike Brown will implement in the offense (he's stated he wants to approach it like DRob and Duncan no surprise) with Kobe working the Corners and elbow.

Any franchise would be stupid not to take a crack at landing CP and Dwight and I would be a disappointed fan if they didn't.

LOL It was directed at Drewski. I mean, Laker fans could look at the playoff highlights and tell they need him on their team.

As a Mavs fan, I'll definitely take Samuel Dalembert. He brings a lot of defense, not as much as Tyson, but its still there.

It has nothing to do with the team. The worst part is these so called fans dont even care to talk about basketball when they lose

One thing they probably have on the NFL is the amount of nonsensical bandwagon hoppers
No offense but what does it have to do with then. Drewski responded to your comment that Pau and Drew weren't "all star bigs." He didn't attack you. He just stated he disagreed with your comment. A fair response.

Then you respond by grouping him with LA fans and calling him "unreasonable". Cmon man. We gotta do better than that. I could see if he said "Pau is one of the greatest PFs of all time and they should get Howard and Paul for him". What he said was very reasonable.

I said that my dude lol

Thing is that once you're having knee issues/problems when you're young, they don't get any better, especially once it becomes bone on bone. So you may not see much of a difference in him right away but eventually later down the road as he gets older, it'll become one.

Nah, I don't see many Laker fans here kicking and stomping. We want both but are ok with getting one. God help this forum if the Lakers find a way to get Howard though. I don't think this place will survive.

Franchise players make 15 (Lebron, Kobe, Dirk) and over now so I think we have to move the bar. Good players can make between 10-15 now. I'd consider a player like Chandler overpaid if he was making 15 plus.

                            Look at the Nuggets-Knicks-(Timberwolves) deal:

Knicks: Carmelo Anthony, Billups, Shelden Williams, Anthony Carter, Renaldo Balkman

Nuggets: Wilson Chandler (Age-24), Danilo Gallinari (Age-23), Raymond Felton, Timofey "Blake-Griffin-owns-me-for-life" Mozgov (Age-25) and three deaft picks including a 1st rounder in 2014

The Wolves got Anthony Randolph and apparently Eddy Curry.

Basically, the Hornets have to immediately be able to enter rebuilding mode with someone to actually build around, at least. Goran Dragic would've been the youngest guy in that deal, and he's 25. Plus, Dragic at this point isn't someone you plan on building around.

That's why I think Stern will insist the Lakers trade Andrew Bynum to the Hornets. Like it or not, that's the only way you're getting Paul. Who knows, the Rockets may send Jordan Hill or Patrick Patterson to the Lakers, or the Hornets may send over Carl Landry. But I'm pretty sure Bynum will be involved in this deal.

Would seem to me Nene is waiting on this Pau trade. Rockets could go 4-64 or thereabouts if they wanted to.
I think there's something to this, otherwise he'd of taken the NJ deal. Over 15 per for Nene? That's wayyyyy too much money IMO.

What's a better deal though? Dalembert for 9 or Nene for 15? If those are the options I say go for broke and get the better player (Nene)

                                Also...

Most recent construction of CP3 trade, sources say, does indeed still send Odom to NOH. Hornets want him as much as Martin/Scola, even ...
Guess we can put the "he's not an asset" stuff to bed.
