EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure. -
Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
He was not a helluva player in Memphis....he folded up tent when you played him physical
I remember guys like Mike Miller and Eddie Jones doing more work in the playoffs than Gasol.
He's no better today than he was yesterday....
He's overhyped simply because he's in LA you disagree that's your opinion. But if he was in Milwaukee like i said people would say the Hornets got ripped off trading Chris Paul for that joker
Also if he was overhyped...how come so many people were bitching about that trade when it happened. Marc Gasol and two #1s is a lot to give up for someone who is overhyped.Comment

Wow...stay classy Chauncey. Goodness gracious.
Billups: "People take my kindness and professionalism for weakness. They think I’ll be OK with (getting claimed). I won’t be OK with this."
EDIT:
Billups wants freedom to choose team. Warns those who'd claim him: You'll regret it. "I'm tired of being the glue guy." Story soon on Y!

For teams considering claim on Chauncey Billups, he tells Y!: "A leader can be as disruptive as he can be productive..This is about me now."
Wow!
I believe him to because he was one of the guy who said he's prepaired to sit out the entire year during the lockoutut.
But i believe if Miami calls him he'll reconsider in a heartbeatNCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
Chauncey's a certified a-hole. I never expected this from him. But hey.
“I just don’t deserve the treatment that I’ve continually gotten,” Billups said. “Historically, these things never happen to the supposed great players and good guys. They continually happen to me, and it gets old. Listen, I feel I’ve been blessed in the game, and I’ve been given back, but these things start to wear on you. But there’s not another guy in history who keeps dealing with this, getting thrown into these things to make the money right. I really believe it’s because people take my kindness and professionalism for weakness. They think I’ll be OK with this. I won’t be OK with this. I’ve saved my money. I may just retire if I don’t get my freedom here.
“I want my freedom. My goal is to control my own destiny. And as you’ve seen in my career, I’ve never been in a position to do that. I know some teams out there are saying, ‘Oh, Chauncey will be great in mentoring’ and I’m tired of that. I’ve got a few good years left to play, and I’m not trying to come in and sit on the bench, or be a mentor. I’m not going to be that guy. I want to go somewhere and win. I want to choose.”Comment

Tom Chambers was an All-Star to but you wouldn't have traded Isiah Thomas for Tom Chambers right?NCAA FOOTBALL 14 ALUMNI LEGENDS CPU vs CPU DYNASTY THREAD

He's amnestied so that means any team under the cap can bid on his services and get him for this season. Those teams will probably be a rebuilding team. He wants to play for the Heat so he's threatening any team that picks him up that he will be a cancer.Comment

Re: Official POST-LOCKOUT Player Movement Thread (Trades, FAs, etc)
If NO was smart they would have traded Paul like Utah did Deron when he had two years left and before he could direct where he could go. Utah got a good haul for Deron because they didn't let it get to the situation we have with Paul.Comment
