Gasol was and always will be a top five PF, but in contrast to Paul, Pau is not a player to build around but a complimentary player to an All-Star.
I really don't see why anyone won't agree that NOH are getting the short end of the straw here...

If the Lakers manage to acquire Paul & have enough cap for Howard another big 3 is certain, so much for this lockout

Yeah. It's amazing how these athletes can rededicate themselves when they have money problems and debt collectors start calling (allegedly).
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

I wish this trade would hurry up and go thru so we can start seeing other moves being made besides players signing for the Vet's minimum.

That's the thing, The Hornets WE'RE getting the short end in the first deal. The owners were under the misconception it was a good deal because it was assumed Andrew Bynum wasn't available for NO, in a sense. Stern will certainly require the Lakers to send Bynum to NO. At least Bynum will want to go.

Because there aren't other deals out there that being them more value. While they aren't getting CP3 talent in one superstar, they are maximizing the highest potential value they can receive in return.

Brewer, Dominique Jones, Beusbois, Nick Calathes lol? I don't know.

I would assume there would have to be a 3rd team involved for Dallas to make a move for Dwight, and I don't see it happening personally.

Yeah not sure seem like rags cut from rags if you know what I mean. That's why I was fascinated Magic even thought about Dal. Only thing that make sense is Cubana telling Dwight he doesn't have to be a Laker or Net because he can be a Mav through free agency next season (Mavs having the cap to sign him).

I remember the thread on here with people arguing about it. If Gasol didn't folded up this post season I'm sure he wouldn't be called overrated. Dirk is the best pf after that its a toss up with gasol, amare, randolph an lamarcus. So there's no reason for people to call him overrated. He's a top 5 pf an Chris Paul is a top 2 pg. It's not as bad as when gasol got traded to LA.

Dallas will have the room to sign him. The odds are against it obviously, but cripes a Howard/Dirk combo would be scary

I agree, you don't build around Gasol. Just the whole Gasol is overrated thing is stupid.

You want to know who's loving all this CP3-Lakers talk the most right now?

Miami Heat doing exactly what they wanted to do - fly under the radar. That's dangerous for the rest of the league, excluding Chicago.

                            From Twitter:
WojYahooNBA: Rockets will have changes to their part of proposed 3-way deal, league sources tell Y! Sports. They'd be sending more players to Hornets.
Thoughts on who they could be? I think it could end up being between Chase Budinger, Jonny Flynn, Jordan Hill, Patrick Patterson, or Terrence Williams. Maybe one of the rookies?

I hope people will understand now why I wanted a season-killing lockout. These players, now Billups included, are out of ****ing control.
