So with Pau being shipped out of LA and us now having Chandler/Amare/Melo can anyone disagree that we have the best front line in the NBA?

We obviously lack depth (Jerome Jordan and Jared Jeffries off the pine ) but who else is competing with that?

Crazy we went from a small-ball team to a big team with the best front line just by signing one role player.
No, Memphis has the best frontcourt in the NBA. They made it to the second round without Rudy, now imagine how good they'll be with him? Gasol and Randolph are better all-around players than Stoudemire and Chandler, IMO. We'll see how good the Knicks can be with a training camp and full season together.

Don't think they have a choice at this point. Odom isn't gonna want to be there, and he's gonna be on edge all year if he stays. Gasol would want to stay, but he's a key cog in either acquiring Howard or CP3. Orlando didn't accept Brook Lopez and two 1st-rounders with the Nets taking Turk's bad contract. No way they're taking Andrew Bynum straight up.

A starting lineup of Douglas, Fields, Melo, Stat, and Chandler is pretty damn good. The bench? ehhhh, not so much.

I wonder if the possibility of Bynum going to NO and then Hornets using their amnesty on Okafor.

I have no idea what's going on tho as I haven't been keeping up today, so not sure if it's a given Bynum is staying in LA

At first, I initially thought of the Knicks old GM lol.

I said to myself "Why in the world would they hire THIS guy to be their GM?"

Not to mention Conley at the point and possibly Mayo coming off the bench. The Grizz may have arguably the best overall team in the league (at least the most underrated).

Then you respond by grouping him with LA fans and calling him "unreasonable". Cmon man. We gotta do better than that. I could see if he said "Pau is one of the greatest PFs of all time and they should get Howard and Paul for him". What he said was very reasonable.
I actually wasn't calling him unreasonable at all, I was talking about the way alot of people I know and alot I see act in Los Angeles which was a response to Jasong777's question

Drewski can disagree all day, I just watched him halfway meltdown when he got wind that the trade wasnt going through yesterday and it went on for pages even when everyone tried to move along. I have no interest in doing that myself...but I was in no way referring to Drewski as unreasonable

Plus, more than likely Bynum is going to NO. If anything, they're trying to work out where the smaller pieces will go, and to what teams. But basically IMO what will happen is:

Hornets get Lamar Odom and Andrew Bynum, bunch of other young guys
                  Rockets get Pau Gasol
                  Lakers get Chris Paul
Wow, if that's the trade then L.A. totally got worked over. At least until next summer when they'll likely have the cap space to sign Dwight. Yet, they'll be a severly weakened team until then.

So, Jeff Green signs with the Celtics for a year, $9 Million. The Knicks and T-Wolves could land JJ Barea after the Mavs only offered him a 1-year deal.

Yeah, basically they'd be clearing cap space to make a run at someone next year.
