Yes but he's owed $20m combined for this season and next and I just don't see the Captain taking a cut. No way in hell. The other side of the story is even if they could trade him there would be no partners; horrible contract and he can be a nightmare.

He'll be stuck in GS and GS fans will have to live with the reality that they traded Ellis for Jack for this season as Bogut won't be returning until next year.

Blazers have reached agreement in principle to send Gerald Wallace to Nets for 2 players and protected 2012 1st-round pick, source tells Y!

I'm not trying to say he's not. I just don't think the Nets are going to be able to surround him with what Cuban will be able to surround himself with. And as attractive as the Brooklyn move is, he's also talked A LOT about how he would love to play in Dallas, he's even said he likes playing in Dallas because of the arena and he's from the area.

Sorry for trying to be confident about something after we just gave up half of a championship winning team to try and get this guy.

Boozer for Aldridge. Come back to Chicago LA, where you should have originally been. At the same time if that happened then Chicago might have not won the lottery that night.

Either way LA and Rose would be beautiful. Too bad it ain't happening.

Wallace is an upgrade to the stiffs we've had playing now, and i'm pretty positive this won't be the final deal Billy King does today. Even if it is, 3 more picks, Healthy Brook, MarShon with a year experience and 28 mil. in cap space. Since Dwight's off the table the options are open.
Sorry, where are you seeing 3 picks? I only see 1. (http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/dra...rafts/detailed)

Yeah and we also heard how Duhwight wanted to play with Deron and play in Brooklyn and how'd that turn out?

But hey, if your only hope in this "Oh well he's from Dallas and he likes the Arena(said the samething about Brooklyn but anyway)", then I don't blame you for holding out hope for it.

Korver would have to be included for financial reasons though. Chicago would be taking on $3m too much. You could swap Watson for Korver but we're back to square 1.

I wanted Allen here in "The Decison" summer but it never turned out and at this point it's over for Jesus in Chicago.

Right because we all know you can get big production from two players who aren't playing at all this year because their crippled ***es can't play.

Gerald Wallace and 3 rookies isn't better at all bro.

                        But so be it.

Edit: not to mention you could potentially parlay those picks for a better veteran than Wallace... during draft time.

The blazers kept thinking about their future, just saying. Things happen. If I have something on the table that gets me a championship this year ill take it, next year is never a guarantee.

I wouldnt do that though... I was strictly talking about the argument for Butler vs Allen man

1Rose decided to twist it up when you brought in financials for korver and rip, in which I asked you... you would consider keeping Rip

Some people just decide to read what they want and formulate arguments on something that wasnt even said... its ridiculous

I think we all understand the financial aspect of the move, we're just debating the hypothetical that was put forward of getting Allen for Butler and a first.
