Seriously. Dude is an honest man. He wasn't happy when the Cat's shipped him ... sayss it all. Some folks just want to ball. He earned the right to choose his next destination. Wouldn't be surprised if he stayed for Brooklyn though. Dude is for real, I don't care what his numbers look like. Bad sitch in Portland.

As a Charlotte fan I'm content to build around Kemba Walker, Gerald Henderson, Bismack Biyombo, and (hopefully) Anthony Davis.

Both aging centers that have their strong points and their deficiencies, any team that would build around either one is foolish.

Yup, amnesty Tyrus, sign Antwan Jamison, draft Davis, maybe get another pick in the first round. Start the building. Bring in Nate in 2013.

Cap penalties in general will be a lot more stringent in general in the next 2 years. There's a reason why so many teams are pretty much salary dumping right now.

Sure right now it might seem stupid, but as Aaron said in 2 years when a top team is offering you 3/15 while a "lower market" is offering you that same 3 years but for 35 million that changes things a lot. From what I've come to quantify teams that print money won't be able to just throw huge sacks at free agents otherwise they'd be essentially paying triple what they're getting (I believe the new cap penalty is 3:1? Correct me if I'm wrong).

So laugh at the Nets, Bobcats, Bucks, Suns or whoever now but hey things will be looking a lot brighter soon.

I want to think that they start really working in the short out there in Charlotte. Jordan gonna turn this thing around.

So when I look into it, I see that Denver will only have 10-15M in cap space next year. Wilson Chandler will take up most of that. They are not going to have all the room that some people think.

The reason is because that's all you have.

There is not a decent veteran on the team that us a solid player. Nor is there a free agent who is going to choose to go to the Bobcats on their own free will.

So all that cap space that people are banking on will be going to the Travis Outlaws of the NBA.

People are thinking that this is the NFL or something where players will just follow who's paying the most. Not gonna happen in the NBA.

If you think otherwise...you're giving these primadonna players a bit too much credit.

I hope we're both around in 2 years when you say players will be running towards Charlotte.

Did you miss Brandon Jennings thoughts on his upcoming free agency a few weeks ago?

Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
Huh? Nene had a 5yr deal. They just traded a 5yr deal for two expiring deals. That creates cap space.

Its common sense. I heard Jennings' thoughts but that doesnt mean ****. You think he's gonna turn down 15-20 mil because he wants to play in a "major market". Here are the major market teams: Miami, New York, Chicago, Brooklyn, Boston, LA (times 2), Dallas.

Miami, NYK and both LA teams wont have the cap room to sign Jennings. Dallas is going after DWill. Chicago has Rose. Boston has Rondo. So what you are saying is that Jennings will take 10-20 mil less to play in Brooklyn?

Its always about the money. Players NEVER take significantly less to play in glamour cities in their prime. Even Lebron and Bosh got max deals in the end.

I'm with you on the cap situation, but he's averaging exactly what he did while he was on his last $60MM deal a few years back.

                            Bucks...perfect.

Does Brandon Jennings stay with the Bucks when he's up?

Its sad because you are talking alot about things its clear you have no clue about. One last time: You cant compare what happens in 2 yrs to whats happened in the past. The rules are completely different. When you have teams like the Lakers thinking about cutting costs now (when the stringent cap rules havent kicked in), you know that its a different situation.

Cuban was talking about this last week on the BS report. But you go ahead and keep on thinking its 2009.
