You'd be expecting ALOT from Gibson to replace Gasol and I wouldn't even be sure he could replace that much, to be honest and that's no knock on Gibson either.

It would make LA worse short term. But if you want to build for the future then sure I guess.

If I was gonna trade Pau away I had better get three rotation players or a legit future prospect. If not then I would just keep Pau for sure. Gibson is cool, but not for Pau.

Deng is cool, but I really look at that move as purely lateral if not worse than what they currently have.

I wish bulls would go after J Smoove instead of Gasol. Wouldn't have to give up as much, and Bulls would be better for a longer period of time.

I don't know about lateral as that may be too strong. Deng would be an obvious upgrade over Barnes and Metta considering he's miles ahead of them on the offensive side of the ball while providing comparable or better defense. Taj while not nearly as skilled as Gasol on the offensive end isn't as soft as Pau can be on the defensive side of things. That said, Gasol could net you a better haul than just Deng and Gibson and again, it's a ******* trade to even suggest because the Bulls aren't the Grizzlies and aren't going to gift the Lakers two young studs for a 4 that'll be declining in a few years without even having the decency to put Boozer's defense optional *** in there and getting a better piece that Ebanks.

Kobe thinks he hates playing with Gasol now...just wait if the Lakers trade for Boozer.

I'd bet either Beasley or Williams will be involved.

Williams should land in his hometown playing for the Lakeshow! Lol

                      Lakers Get:
                      Boozer
                      Brewer
                      Lowry

                      Bulls Get:
                      Gasol
                      Martin
                      Williams

                      Rockets Get:
                      Watson
                      Gibson
                      Deng

I don't know. I totally just generated this trade in my brain and probably is no feasible way it could possibly work. Yes, I'm at work and I'm bored, but it would be kewl.

If I was kobe, and they put boozer in my front court, I'd just retire on the spot. 5 rings is plenty

Considering the Rockets have been trying to acquire Gasol since the lockout ended pretty much, I'm just gonna go ahead and say that this would certainly not happen as I can't see them helping facilitate Pau going anywhere but Houston.

Wasn't it reported that the Twolves offered LA Williams and 2 1st rounders for Gasol and they turned it down?

There is not a chance in the deepest, darkest depths of Los Anghelles that the Lakers would turn down such a deal.
