You think so? I honestly don't really see this as making a huge difference. Now they're Golden State East

Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis have missed a combined 827 shots this season. No pair of teammates have missed more.
        tomhaberstroh Tom Haberstroh
My projections now have Ersan Ilyasova averaging roughly 57 rebounds per night now that Monta Ellis joins the backcourt.

The Bucks still plan to keep Brandon Jennings, as @SpearsNBAYahoo reported yesterday. GM John Hammond made deal to pair Jennings and Ellis.

1 and 2. If we don't get Duhwight by the deadline, then the Nets would take Fat Diaw because he's an expiring contract.

The Houston pick is lottery protected so basically they'd have to make the playoffs for you to get it this year.

Monta is by far the best player in that deal. I think they'll be better than they were, which will probably be enough to make the playoffs.

You're right, but I think it's fair to say he wants to GTFO.

At the end of the day, Monta Ellis is an elite scorer, something Milwaukee hasn't had in like 5+ years. The Bucks are one of the worst teams in the NBA as far as FG% goes, so even if Ellis is on the chuckerish side, it still doesn't hurt the team. And I don't see how adding an elite scorer to replace two guys that weren't going to play anyway would make us a worse team. It can only help at this point. We aren't going to do any damage in the playoffs or anything if I had to guess, but it certainly gives us a better chance of making the playoffs and winning a few games.

I'll take Milwaukee at the 8, please! Tough losing Bogut, but I like the move for Milwaukee.

If one of the two, or both of them could put their egos behind them, they could be a deadly tandem. But neither of them will.

Man what the hell? I fall asleep for a few hours and wake up to this? Milwaukee doesn't really think Monta is going to stay there when his deal is up right? They've basically got him for the rest of this season and next year as he's got a player option that he probably won't pick up after that. Aye!

That's very true(although that sounds exactly like another team that traded for an elite scorer and how's that turned out for them? LOL).

Me personally, I've always been against trading big for small, regardless of who it is because in this league, you NEED size. Now, Bogut does have that injury history I will admit but we have seen how players leave one team for another and the next thing you know, they don't miss another game. Not sure why it's like that but it's always happened in sports.

Just be prepared for playing defense short handed with Monta out there I will say that.

Look at our team. Jennings, Drew Gooden, Mike Dunleavy, Tobias Harris all getting good minutes. You really think adding Ellis to the mix will ruin our defense? lol. Our defense is a complete joke outside of Mbah A Moute.
